Information on topics like, Nuclear Energy - safe and clean source, Nuclear Energy - an inevitable option for development of nation etc. are disseminated through these programs. Nine Public awareness & outreach programs and one public awareness seminar was organized in the month of August-2018 covering 392 persons in total, which included students and teachers Page 2 of 6

3 from various schools & colleges, various government employees, general public and family members of NPCIL employees. All visitors were informed about the important aspects of nuclear power with the help of models, exhibitions and movies in the Information Center of Nuclear Training Center. Escorted plant visits were also organized. It helped in enhancing awareness on Nuclear energy generation among the visitors. Under the awareness program, the film "Budhia" and "A Friend Forever" was shown to the parents of the candidates those came for participate in the recruitment examination of the paramedical staff conducted by the Rawatbhata Rajasthan site at new community center, Anupartap Colony, Rawatbhata on dated 12/08/2018. Information was also given about the important aspects of nuclear energy and solved the curiosity manifested by them very strategically. In addition to that one outstation seminar on Nuclear energy was organized at Modi Institute of Technology, Rawatbhata Road, Kota, Rajasthan. The aim of the seminar was to draw the attention of student s community towards different aspects of Nuclear Power Plant operation, including necessity of Nuclear power, benefits of such power plants and awareness regarding the clean & green nature of this technology. The doubts of participants regarding the cost of production, effects of radiation on human and the overall effect of NPP on the environment was also addressed by NPCIL faculty. This Program was attended by more than 135 participant, which included the Head of institute, Professors and the students.
