All sports require a tryout on the day prescribed by the coach. Actual tryout dates will be posted at There are many advantages to joining a sport: being a member of team and thus feel a part of Samohi, demonstrates commitment to colleges as well as possible scholarships, and an incentive to maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average.
