With a duration of 6 credits (one semester) is to provide the basic principles and guidelines to establish the social and learning environment suitable to improve skills and encourage individual development, and also to teach psychological skills that help improve performance. This course is part of the subject "Psychology" in which case, the subject is taught "Basic Psychology", which will provide knowledge about the processes and basics of psychology, thus facilitating the understanding of the concepts discussed in "Sports Psychology ". Sociology of sport 6 2/4 History 6 History of physical activity 6 2/4 TEACHING GUIDE: SPORT PSYCHOLOGY Pre-requisites: None GENERAL OBJECTIVES a) To know the basic theoretical aspects of psychology applied to sport and physical activity (principles and basic psychological processes, motivational processes, group processes and psychosocial aspects that influence the practice of physical activity and sport) b) To meet the evaluation instruments of the psychological variables studied. c) To know the major intervention strategies to ensure further learning, satisfaction, wellbeing and sports performance. GENERAL COMPETENCES Weighting CG1. Understanding scientific literature in English and other important languages widely used in the scientific field achieving a good management of information. Knowing and understanding the effects of physical activitiy on psychological and social aspects of being human. CE10. Designing, planning and evaluating teaching and learning processes related to physical activity and sports paying attention to individual characteristics and context. CE13. Applying physiological, biomechanical, behavioural and social principles to different fields of physical activity and sports. CE19. 8 o To pass the subject in the 1st enrolment To overcome with, at least 50% each of the evaluation tests proposed by the teacher. Each evaluation test will be stated by the teacher in the tutorial. Any student who does not successfully overcome some of the evaluation tests, but the final weight of the note exceeds 5, will be awarded a score of 4.5. Any student not attending the exam, even if other activities have been submitted in due course, will be considered as noshow. The marks obtained in the evaluation tests that scored 5 or more, will be saved until the 4th call. CRITERIA FOR GRANTING A GRADE OF A WITH HONORS Registration may be granted for every 20 students, the beneficiaries being students who have achieved top marks as long as they're less than 9.0. 9 TEMPORAL ORGANIZATION OF LEARNING (First and second enrolment): CONTENTS BLOCK / TEACHING UNIT INTRODUCCTION OF SPORT PSYCHOLOGY MOTIVATIONAL PROCESSES IN THE SPORT AND EERCISE GROUP PROCESSES IN SPORT PSYCHOLOGICAL SKILLS FOR THE PERFORMANCE Nº OF SESSIONS o To pass the subject in the 3nd enrolment Students in 3rd and 4th call may attend to six (6) tutorials in order to revise for the evaluation of these competencies which might be pending in previous call. The notes of the last calls that were overcome with 5 or more will be kept. To resit for these tests makes the previous mark null and void. TEMPORAL ORGANIZATION OF LEARNING: (Third and fourth enrolment): CONTENTS BLOCK / TEACHING UNIT INTRODUCCTION OF SPORT PSYCHOLOGY MOTIVATIONAL PROCESSES IN THE SPORT AND EERCISE GROUP PROCESSES IN SPORT PSYCHOLOGICAL SKILLS FOR THE PERFORMANCE Nº OF SESSIONS o To pass the subject in the 3th enrolment and subsequent call: An examination will be determined by the Department.
