To enable the learner to analyse the nature and scope of commerce education in the modeen era. 2. To enable the students to understand the aims and objectives of teaching Commerce. 3. To acquaint the students with the modern trends in teaching Commerce. 4. To equip the students with various models, strategies, methods and techniques in the teaching of Commerce. 5. To understand the significance of principles and approaches in giving instruction. 6. To develop insight into modern practices of student evaluation and assessment. 7. To enable the students to analyze the role of IT in Commerce Education. 8. To create a research perspective among prospective teachers in the field of Commerce. Prepare learning design based on any models of teaching. 4. Develop an observation schedule for assessing a Commerce class at under graduate level and prepare a report on the observed class.
