5 AMSA Course Levels All AMSA courses prepare students for college College Preparatory (CP) - Courses aimed at preparing high school students for entry into colleges and universities. Honors (H) - Courses cover more complex material, permit further in-depth study, and may require independent learning and greater effort. Advanced Placement (AP) - College level courses where the curriculum is approved by College Board.
