Job opportunities Lawyer law courses are people-centred and provide you with many opportunities for self-fulfilment (especially: learning how to think for yourself and learning the best research methods). Good to know: a bachelor's degree in Law is also organised in Mons, in the framework of the collaboration between ULB and the University of Mons within the Académie universitaire Wallonie-Bruxelles. Judge You have at your disposal: Corporate lawyer (bank, insurance, consultancy) If you go on to do a Master in Law, you will be able to move into the following professions: Process A post within an international organisation or diplomatic service A methodology room PCs A law library If, after your BA studies, you wish to do a Master in another subject, you could opt for criminology. Progression per curriculum unit You could also move into research in the following areas:economic law, tax law, international law, Criminology etc The concept of a year of studies gives way to a system of accumulation of credits based on the student s individual programme. The cycle programme is offered in units of 60 credits. The units of 60 credits are proposed as an ideal course of study for students enrolled in this programme. The first 60 credits are a compulsory requirement for each curriculum programme of the bachelor s degree. Students are required to obtained the first 45 credits in order to continue the curriculum. Beyond this, students must register each year for a minimum of 60 credits (except for shortened programme or final year). Programme objectives Fulfil your personal ambitions by developing your skills in legal reasoning (e.g.: analysing a legal problem and finding an appropriate solution), your logical reasoning, your critical and analytical ability. At the end of your bachelor s course, you will have a solid grounding in law and a general grounding in human sciences.
