1 DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS Report Our department UG was established in the year 2002 & PG was established in the year 2011.

3 MATH STAR 2015 On MATH STAR 2015 was organized to bring out the talents of our young and Energetic students. Dr. Irene Hepzibha, Professor A.V.C college of Engg and Tech, Mayiladuthurai presided the function and gave the lecture on Queueing theory and Fuzzy sets

6 STAFF & STUDENTS ACHIVEMENT Department of Tamil,Organized the pongal celebration for two days. They Conducted Various Competition for both Staff & Students. STAFF Mrs. V.JayaPriya & Mrs.M.AmirthaValli of Maths,got 2 nd place. STUDENTS: Solo Song, Group Song, Solo Dance,Group Dance and Comedy Drama were Conducted for Students. Sr.Vikkashini, I Maths Bagged 1 st prize for Solo-Song. Our Department students also won 1 st prize for Solo-Song. The Winners are, Ms. M.Faiyuna, III Maths. Ms. G.DeviPriya,III Maths. 8 UNION ELECTION: College Union election was held at IDHAYA AUDITORIUM at 10.00AM, in presence of our Principal Rev.Sr.Dr.C.Jothi Mary.The Nomines introduced themselves to the gathering. After which the Head of the Department, Club Coordinators and class representatives voted for the nominated students for various post. By afternoon te results were announced by the principal. SPORTS Bharathidhasan University organized chess tournament at Bishop College,Trichy. Ms.KA.SE.Tamileelam of I Maths participated in the Tournament.. BADMINTON On & inter college Ball Badminton tournament organized by bharathidhasan University around 12 colleges participated in the tournament in which our college team won First prize. Ms. B. Bharathy II Maths & Ms.KA.SE.Tamileeam I Maths Represrent the winning team.

9 District level Ball Badminton competition was conducted at Annai Sathiya Stadium our college team won First Prize. Ms. B. Bharathy II Maths was selected for SM Trophy to represent Thanjavur Dist. COLLEGE ANNUAL SPORTS DAY On college sports day was conducted.in Order to bring out the talents from students management has organized various events for students. Ms. B. Bharathi II maths won first place in volley ball and Ball Badminton. Second place in Kabadi & Throw ball Mr.Siva Basker, B.Sc.,Deputy Superitendent of police Kumbakonam & Dr.A.John Merina,

10 M.Sc.,M.Phill,B.Ed,Principal of Govt College,Kumbakonam Inaugrated the sports meet. Mr.P.Francis Sagayaraj,BBA,international Athelete,customs & Central excise, Trichy. Mrs. Ratna Sekar, Chairman,Kumbakonam Municipality & Dr.Selva Vinayagam,syndicate member, Bharathidhasan University, Dharmapuram Adhinam Arts College. Presided the function for evening session.winner & Runner were awarded with prize. Students of 5 teams performed cultural events. Mathematics Department was incharge for welcome dance. Ms.R.Keerthana Participated in hand ball, I Maths. Ms.B.Bharathi Participated in Discus Throw,Javelin.She also won!st in Volley Ball, Ball Batminton & 2 nd Place in Kabadi, Throw Ball. Ms.D.Mahalakshmi,E.Omanaa,B.Sowmiya of II Maths participated in Kabadi & Kho-Kho. CULTURAL ACTIVITIES Department of Tamil orgainzed the Pongal celebration for two days. They conducted various competitions. * Sr. Vikashini I Maths won the first prize for solo song.

Simultaneously ensure a steep and consistent increase in number of Rank holders.
