Welcome back to school. It had been almost 8 weeks since the long vacation started. Many significant events had happened. We should be thankful that all of us are well and ready to face the new school term beginning on the 29 August It will be a challenging, exciting and interesting new term ahead as we embark on a journey of learning, discovery and acquiring new skills. Over the holidays, a number of projects to upgrade the school infrastructure and facilities were completed. We have a new running track and a beautiful lawn contributing to a more conducive study environment. It s a bonus for NIS to successfully hire well qualified and competent teachers. With a good monitoring system, the teachers are expected to give their very best to their students. Congratulations to three Year 11 students: Heerraa Ravindran, Thesrikar Sukumar and Ng Ming Xiang for scoring straight A s in the recent IGCSE examinations. Let your light shine!
