1 Founder s District Alignment Report for DEC A year ago, District Director Pan Kao suggested that we draft an alignment sufficient for both Founder s District and District 100 to last for the next several years. That resulted in the current 10-division alignment. This Spring, the elected district officers decided that they would serve as the alignment committee. While the current six-division alignment is quite serviceable, the alignment committee that adding an additional division would get more people involved overall. Recent history suggests that division councils are very active, whereas area councils are not. Having more four-club areas may result in more Distinguished Areas as well, with only two, rather than three clubs needing to be Distinguished for the area to reach Distinguished. With many clubs not submitting April dues until June, it s impossible to produce an exact alignment. Here is a draft 7-Division alignment that is certain to change before July 15 th. One can go with 4 by 5, or 5 by 4.
