3 TRULY technique is a professional event, organised by Srednja šola Ravne to present technical achievements of innovative and creative students to the professional public, to promote themselves and to promote technical professions in our region. The presenters at the event are students of computer science, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering at Srednja šola Ravne.

5 Goals of TRULY technique: improving the quality of work at school, cooperates with companies in the region at specific projects.

6 What does TRULY technique do: encourages students to think creative and innovative, encourages young people to do extra project work, promotes technique among young people, promotes Srednja šola Ravne as a centre of technical professions, creates and teaches to use new technologies, better recognisability of the school as a partner.

7 TRULY technique provides: opportunities to young innovators to present themselves and their knowledge to professional public, interdisciplinary approach when working on a project. The TRULY technique participants: all senior students and others, interested in project work, all mentors: computer engineers, electrical engineers and mechanical engineers, other supportive members.

8 - TRULY technique is occasion for formal and informal gathering, - TRULY technique has been organised twice, - the first time came representatives of 15 companies in the region, it was very successful, it attracted a lot of attention and therefore we expanded the project and repeated it the next year, - we prepared an exhibition of material of our sponsors as a small fair, - at the second gathering there were more companies present than at the first one (18 at the conference and 19 providers of material and sponsorship at the exhibition part), - the event took place on the same day as we organised our info day so we had visitors from the general public too, - TRULY technique was promoted in the media (radio, TV, newspapers).

9 - we encourage our students to think creatively, we help them to master new technologies and to use those when they are working on their projects, - we wish to make those projects as useful as possible with practical use also for companies, - tighten cooperation with firms, which were supposed to suggest projects that would be useful to them, - this motivates students and mentors when performing practical lessons at school and it harmonises school and companies needs this way companies specify what skills they are looking for in their new employees,

10 - we found out that firms are very interested in this kind of cooperation with our school and are ready to help us with ideas and providing the necessary material, - connection with the companies brings the school a higher level of quality and responsibility for work, because mentors also had to be careful about the deadlines, - through projects like this one, mentors and students get in touch with professional tools used in companies

11 - we stimulate all students and mentors with practical awards, which are provided by the sponsors, - at the beginning of the year all senior students and a few others are participating at the project, then we choose 10 best projects to be presented at the final event, - by doing that we also encourage competitiveness which helps us reach bigger engagement at the lessons and students' interest for profession.
