Writing progress was in the top quintile (2%) for at least two years for all pupils, middle prior attainers and high prior attainers. Mathematics progress was in the top quintile (2%) for at least two years for all pupils and middle prior attainers. Progress in writing was significantly above average and in the highest 1%. KS2 attainment In 218, reading, writing and mathematics attainment of the expected standard was at or above national for prior attainment groups: middle, high. In 218, 87% of pupils achieved the expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics, 23 percentage points above the national proportion. This was a statistically significant difference. The three-year average reading attainment score (18.3) was in the top 1%. The three-year average mathematics attainment score (17.) was in the top 1%.
