6 School Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) Absence during exams an official medical certificate (MC) is required. Absence on a school day MC or letter from parent/guardian. For early departure on a school day parent/guardian must be present to sign out the child.

7 School Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) Avoid taking child on trips during term time not a valid reason Principal s approval is required beforehand. Frequent absences and late-coming school will send out an advisory letter.

8 Update on attendance-taking Teachers will record daily attendance using School Cockpit mobile phone App. Parents/Guardians will receive a phone message at 8.30am if child is absent.

23 Class Dojo Class Dojo is the primary mode of communication. Active on weekdays from 7 am to 5 pm. (Not when I am having lessons in class.) Make-Up Work 3 Patience Class Routines When your child is absent from school, your child will be given a few days to complete all the worksheets and assignments. Please remind your child to submit completed work to the teachers.

24 3 Patience Class Routines Late or Incomplete Work In the event your child is constantly not handing in homework, he/she will be required to stay behind during recess to finish the incomplete work. Similarly, parents will be informed if your child consistently hands in homework late.

25 TIPS TO HELP YOUR CHILD Promote a reading and speaking culture at home. Ensure a proper PLACE for study and revision at home (away from TV, computer & electronic devices). A regular TIME for study and revision daily [ No homework does not mean no work ]. Sow a thought, reap an action; sow an action, reap a habit; sow a habit, reap a character; sow a character, reap a destiny.
