10 Virtual Workshop: Format Dates: September 10 28, 2018 (3 weeks) Structure: A mix of live webinars and self-paced courses/materials (e.g., user guides, job aids, FAQs, etc.) PMDAT Workshop Objectives: The focus of the Workshop is to complete the following actions, while engaging with learning content as needed to guide your teams work Complete Milestone 2: Facility Reconciliation Complete first stage of Milestone 3: MoH Results ETL e.g., test MoH Results ETL file Understand Milestone 4: Data Use goals and purpose Deliverables: Completed Milestone 2: Facility Reconciliation Test Results File for Milestone 3: MoH Results File ETL Run pivot table analysis of PEPFAR data for Milestone 4: Data Use 10

11 Virtual Workshop: Format (continued) Time Commitment: We ask that key participants actively participate and work to complete specific goals set throughout the workshop. Some countries, primarily 1st year countries, will require more time to complete given activities and will require regular interactions with their Data Alignment Liaisons Self-Paced Courses: These can be completed based on PMDAT preference and schedule. We will provide a suggested schedule of when courses should be completed to guide PMDAT s day-to-day engagement on the Workshop. Live Courses (e.g. webinars) will occur from 8 9:30am EST (on days webinars are scheduled) 11

12 Virtual Workshop: Participants & Course Structure Who should be participating? USG PMDAT members MoH PMDAT members, and other interested MoH colleagues (USG PMDAT should coordinate MoH participation) What courses will be offered? Core: The core courses (e.g., fundamental to completing Data Alignment) will provide information designed to help PMDATs complete Milestones 2 and 3, as well as assess their approach to Milestone 4. Specialty: The specialty (e.g., ancillary) courses will help PMDATs consider overarching data management topics, such as data governance and systems interoperability. There will also be country-led presentations on lessons learned and best practices related to Milestones 2, 3, and 4. 12

13 Virtual Workshop: Accessing Courses Courses and materials will be located in two virtual platforms: PEPFAR Virtual Academy: online training platform DATIM Support In the Virtual Workshop course schedule, we will provide specific instructions on where to find each course (e.g., on which platform it is located) Note: Content located on PEPFAR Virtual Academy will also be located on DATIM Support. 13

14 Virtual Workshop: Engaging with the Team Leverage your team! Data Alignment Liaisons and SI Advisors are part of your team. If you are experiencing any challenges in meeting the Milestone goals, contact your Data Alignment Liaison to set up a meeting. Check-ins should occur at minimum once per week with Data Alignment Liaisons and SI Advisors, and will be scheduled based on PMDAT availability. During these check-ins, Liaisons and Advisors will review the country s progress toward Milestones, and review which upcoming Workshop sessions may be helpful in mitigating any challenges or questions related to Milestones 2, 3, and/or 4. 14

15 Virtual Workshop: How to Prepare 1. Have Milestone 1 (Indicator Mapping) completed 2. Have your Master Facility List (MFL) ready for Day 1 of the Virtual Workshop Obtained appropriate facility list and formatted in the required structure Met with your Liaison to verify the format Removed sensitive facilities from the list 3. Revisit past webinars for refreshers on Facility Reconciliation (as necessary) Watch the recording of Webinar 6 (introduction to Facility Reconciliation) Note: Detailed information on the Virtual Workshop structure will be provided during the Opening Plenary (September 10) 15
