A MODEL FOR ANOTHER ACADEMY Since its establishment IDC Herzliya has succeeded in being avant-garde in many fields and in leading a revolution in Israel s higher education system, the traces of which can be seen today in other academic institutions. THE RAPHAEL RECANATI INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL IDC Herzliya s Raphael Recanati International School makes up approximately a third of the student body, making it the largest academic absorption center in Israel. There are over 2,000 international students from 86 different countries: 1/3 from North America; 1/3 from Europe; and the remaining 1/3 from the Middle East, Asia, Australia, Africa, and South America. After graduation many of our students chose to make Israel their home, while others become superb ambassadors for the State of Israel in their overseas communities. CAREER DEVELOPMENT CENTER The Career Development Center prepares students to enter the workplace by helping them find suitable employment opportunities. The Center provides counseling, placement and informational services tailored to meet the specific needs of the students and graduates of each of IDC Herzliya s schools. Services include personal career counseling, lectures and workshops on job-seeking strategies. The Center creates recruitment and networking opportunities including job fairs and employers meetings, as well as a regularly updated listing of job openings in Israel for students and graduates.

Students who do not have a BA degree in any of the fields listed above may be required to take up to two prerequisite courses in consultation with the head of their specialization. MAFE: quantitative undergraduate degree (e.g. economics, business, accounting, engineering or other exact science degree). Prerequisite courses may be required.
