1 Colorado Christian UNIVERSITY. MASTER ARTICULATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN COLORADO CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY AND COLORADO COMMUNITY COLLEGE SYSTEM Arapahoe Community College Colorado Community Colleges Online Colorado Northwestern Community College Community College of Aurora Community College of Denver Front Range Community College Lamar Community College Morgan Community College Northeastern Junior College Otero Junior College Pikes Peak Community College Pueblo Community College Red Rocks Community College Trinidad State Junior College INTRODUCTION At, we value adult students and the real world experience they bring to the classroom. That's why we're already partnering with community colleges across Colorado to help them reach their ultimate goal: a bachelor's degree. This agreement formalizes the partnership between (CCU) and the Colorado Community College System (CCCS) to ease the process of transfer for CCCS students completing a bachelor's degree at CCU. Through this partnership, CCCS students will benefit from multiple learning formats, small class sizes, and an accelerated semester schedule so the path to a fouryear diploma is as direct, and affordable, as possible. Together we can bring a quality, accessible education to every corner of Colorado. PURPOSE This agreement sets forth the terms and conditions for students to transfer to a Colorado Christian University College of Adult and Graduate Studies (CCU-CAGS) degree program following the completion of an associate of arts or associate of science degree from a CCCS institution. Page 1 1

2 CCU CCCS Master Articulation Agreement TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. CCCS students who earn an associate of arts or associate of science degree are guaranteed admission to CCU-CAGS up to 12 months upon graduation from a CCCS institution. (Note: Because of program capacity and specialized entry requirements, there are no guarantees of admission to specific CCU undergraduate degree or certificate programs.) 2. CCU will develop course equivalency guides using both CCU course numbers and the Colorado common course numbering system. By creating these guides CCU and CCCS assure students that courses listed in these guides are freely transferable from a CCCS institution to CCU. 3. The course transfer guide designates each course as it relates to the transfer of CCU General Education courses and Core courses. Any course not listed will transfer as an Elective credit with the exception of 950 interinstitutional courses or remedial (0-099 level) regardless of addition date. 4. CCCS students transferring to CCU under this agreement shall have acceptance of academic credit hours earned at a CCCS institution, pending the following curricular and general conditions are met: Undergraduate courses considered for transfer must have a letter grade of "C-" or higher. Courses with grades of "D", D+, "F", "T", "In Progress", "Audit'' or "No-Credit" are not transferable. Grades of "P'' or "S" must have accompanying documentation that Passing or Satisfactory are equivalent to at least a C-. Undergraduate education and nursing program courses considered for transfer must have a letter grade of "C" or higher. Courses with grades of "On, "F", "IP", "!", "P", "S", "U'', "AU", or "Z", are not transferable. 5. CCCS student s CCU transcript will reflect awarded credits with no letter grade indicated. It does not contribute to the student's GPA at CCU. Credits accepted by CCU in transfer are not guaranteed to transfer to other institutions. 6. Once admitted, CCCS students must fulfill all program requirements and comply with all academic policies of CCU. CCU academic policies can be found in the Academic Catalog located at 7. This agreement includes transfer guides for the following programs: Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts with Early Childhood Education Licensing Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts with Early Childhood Education Theory (No Licensing) Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts with Elementary Education Licensing Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts with Elementary Education Theory (No Licensing) Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts with Special Education Generalist Licensing Page 2 2
