At the same time students are preparing to transfer. The math requirement for graduation keeps completion of the AS Degree below an expected improvement in completers. 1. Increase the number of Child Development workshops that make students aware of the processes for earning an AS degree, transfer degree and/or certificate. 2. Increase marketing by developing a revised Department brochure and distributing it at outreach high school career recruitment programs, on campus/cte career fairs, workshops, and classroom presentations. 3. Inform counselors of current changes to the field. 4. Invite counselors to Department Advisory Committee meetings. 5. Although we did not meet the standard, we expect the growth to increase as the students become more aware of the AS-T as an option. 1.
