RESOLVED that the Board of Education approves the following transfers in the amount of $4,899,932.00: Amount From To Explanation $ 3,745, A A Align 2001 bond principal budget code to match year of vote. 1,154, A A Align 2001 bond interest budget code to match year of vote. B. Curriculum Approve item 1 through 6 as listed below: 1. RESOLVED that the Board of Education approves the contracts between the Port Washington Union Free School District and the following schools providing special education services for the school year per the students IEP s: Henry Viscardi School The Summit School School for Language and Communication Development 2. RESOLVED that the Board of Education approves the addendum to the original contract between the Port Washington Union Free School District and New York Therapy Placement Services, Inc., providing special education services for the school year. 3. RESOLVED that the Board of Education approves the contract between the Port Washington Union Free School District and Achieve Beyond providing special education services for the school year per a student s IEP. 4. RESOLVED that the Board of Education approves the consultant services contract between the Port Washington Union Free School District and MKSA, LLC, providing special education services for the school year per a student s IEP. 5. RESOLVED that the Board of Education approves the contract between the Port Washington Union Free School District and Brookville Center for Children s Services, Inc., providing special education services for the school year. 3

BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education approve an overnight field trip to Canada for Weber Middle School French students, May 11, 2016, through May 14, 2016, dependent upon international advisories, with the recommendation of the Superintendent. The students expenses are paid through fundraising. C. Personnel Approve items 1 through 8 as listed below: 1. Approve the appointment of the following annually appointed department chair for the 2015/2016 school year with the recommendation of the Superintendent: a. Dena Bocchino, English, Weber, $ Approve the resignation for the purpose of retirement of the following non-instructional staff with the recommendation of the Superintendent: b. Jacqueline Pozan, Educational Assistant, Weber, effective 9/7/15 3. Approve the resignation of the following non-instructional staff with the recommendation of the Superintendent: a. Nicole Segarra, Educational Assistant, Pre-K Daly, effective 9/1/15 b. JoAnn Wilson, Teacher Assistant, ESL STAR Elementary Extended Day program, effective 9/21/15 4.
