Why is it difficult to get admission in MBBS or MD in India?

We have been in the field of education for the last 15 years thereby creating a genuine trust among students and parents alike, who take comfort in the fact that we are not some education agents but we are an educational institution helping students achieve their MBBS / MD dream. Our Director of International studies Shri Tushar Pawar (Law - London, Banking and Finance (HONS) - London ) has been congratulated by the Ex-Governor of Maharashtra for his efforts in the field of education. Why is it difficult to get admission in MBBS or MD in India? It has been a perennial challenge for our STD 12th students with an inclination to the field of medicine and a desire to be a doctor to get admission in a decent medical collage in India without having to spend Rs. 70 Lac and above. As you are aware, that there are unconfirmed news about medical collages charging donation from Rs. 25 Lacs to Rs. 50 Lacs for an MBBS seat. The situation apparently worsens for MD with Donations starting from Rs. 1.5 crore. Thus in the process of becoming a MD the students spends above 2 Crore rupees!!! As per the rules of Medical Council of India, any student who gets above 50% in his PCB group is eligible for admission into MBBS. But in reality the student needs to get above 98% in STD 12th to actually get admission into MBBS. Why is the admission process opposite to the guidelines issued by the MCI?

3 This exists only in India due to lack of Medical colleges and enormously growing population. To put things in perspective every year there are 80 Lac and above students who apply for M.B.B.S. Seats all over India and the intake capacity is only seats approximately (including government and private colleges). In Maharashtra alone there are more than 6 Lac application but there are only 5000 seats. That means not even 1% of the applicants get admission into MBBS. The degree is recognised internationally by the World Health Organisation and also by the Medical Council of India (MCI). Become a Doctor in America This is Six year degree after 12th Std whereby the student becomes a MD in the United States of America. This degree entitles the students to practice in USA and all over the World including India. As per the norms set by the MCI any student who is doctor in United States of America is exempt from giving the screening test to practice in India.

4 This degree is for students those who intend to settle in America as green card becomes easily possible due to the nature of the degree. A Doctor in America means a higher pay scale as compared to other countries. No CET or Entrance test required. No donations. Visa will be done by us. You can be a Doctor in USA in approximately the same cost as you would spend in India!!! MBBS / MD in Russia As per the Bologna Convention a student who graduates with his MBBS degree from Russia is also eligible to practice throughout Europe including UK, France, Germany etc. He also becomes eligible to apply for registration to the USMLE in USA, PLAB in England and Australian Medical council in Australia. This is MCI recognised degree and student can practice in India as per the norms set by the Medical Council of India. The degree is taught in English Language only. We also train the students in basic Russian Language to help them interact with patients and also others around them. Upon their return from Russia we help train and guide students on how to pass the screening test.
