3 NATIONAL र ष ट The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan has launched 'My MP Rojgar Portal' to provide jobs to youths as per their educational qualification, skills and interest and ensure availability of able candidates to employers as per the need of their business. The portal was launched as a part of the 'Ham Chhu Lenge Asman' Mukhyamantri Career Counselling programme Pahal' in Model School of Bhopal. It was prepared by the Madhya Pradesh Skill Development and Employment Generation Board under youth empowerment mission.

6 NATIONAL र ष ट The long-cherished dream of the people of Arunachal Pradesh to have air connectivity was fulfilled with flagging off of the first fixed-wing commercial aircraft from Pasighat to Guwahati. On persuasion of the state government after Khandu came to hold the mantle, the Air India Ltd agreed to start ATR-42 services of Alliance Air to Pasighat from Gopinath Bordoloi airport at Guwahati, connecting the state with rest of the country. There are about 120 helipads and 10 Advance Landing Ground (ALG) -- Ziro, Pasighat, Aalo,Tuting, Mechuka, Vijaynagar, Walong, Tezu, Daporijo and Alinye, in the state.

9 NATIONAL र ष ट The National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) is in the process of creating a national registry of crimes against women. The announcement was made by the NCRB Chief Ish Kumar at a seminar organised by the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) in New Delhi. The move comes when there is a growing concern over incidents of sexual assaults. The records will be sourced from the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS).

11 NATIONAL र ष ट The Union Finance Ministry announced that it has tied up with 40 entities including Flipkart, Swiggy, Patanjali and Amul for extending loans to small entrepreneurs under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY). In order to identify people who can be given funds under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY), the ministry will organise an event in Mumbai on May 23, 2018 to extend loan under the scheme. The CEOs of various Banks like SBI, ICICI, BOB, PNB; senior officials in the rank of MD or CEO from Oil Companies, Railway Board would be part of the event.

In Israel, the Chief of the Air Staff will be attending a conference on Air Superiority as a Bridge to Regional Stability. The conference is part of the Israel Air Force s 70th-anniversary celebrations. According to the Ministry of Defence, the conference will enable strategic dialogue between Israel s highest leadership, innovative thinkers and the invited Air Force Commanders.

The 43-year-old became NYSE's Chief Operating Officer (COO) in June With Cunningham's promotion, America's leading two stock exchanges will be led by women after Adena Friedman took over as CEO of Nasdaq in January 2017.

22 BUSINESS व य प NITI Aayog vice-chairman Rajiv Kumar exuded confidence that Indian economy will achieve 9% growth rate on sustained basis by 2022 on the back of reforms like GST, demonetisation and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC). According to Mr Kumar, Indian economy grew by 6.6% in and expected to grow at 7.5% this fiscal.
