LEADING - NPS at a Glance 15,129 students As we begin the new school year, we are inspired and emboldened by the accomplishments of our students and staff last year. Norman Public Schools and the community from where we all draw our strength, is innovative, collaborative and always has an eye to the future. That is why with record enrollment and reduced funding, the district still performed in 2013 at the highest levels as compared to other schools in Oklahoma and across the nation. From academics and athletics to the fine arts and service to community, we soared to new heights. We rewarded NPS celebrated and passionate faculty with a pay increase, completed 2009 bond issue projects on time and within budget, and implemented new programs and supports we know help students and boost their achievement. Expect nothing less this year. In fact, expect more.
