Indonesian society that is pluralis c requires a contextual nature of science management, and with based on the existence of diverse methodologies and approaches are qualita ve and quan ta ve, MSM students are given the knowledge to increase sensi vity to the real condi ons of society. Interna onal rela ons, especially with the amount of knowledge in the field of accultura on between the respec ve parts of the world both east and west and north and south, also able to push the MSM students to innovate the methods, concepts and holis c approach. 3 History The School of Business and Management Institut Teknologi Bandung (SBM-ITB) was established at the end of 2003 and is now one of the most important organizations in the institute. Being part of a highly qualified institution of higher education, SBM-ITB is supported by faculty staff members with strong academic background and professional experiences. SBM-ITB also enforces a quality assurance system to ensure the best learning experience for its students. Program Overview The change in the globalization era has become a critical point that must be considered by business leaders in managing their organizations or companies. The need of research based management as well as analysis and problem solving skills are increasing in this globalization era where the competition is becoming more and more intense, locally as well as globally. MSM ITB is aimed to meet this need by creating managers capable of analyzing and building scientific concepts in management. MSM ITB is intended for students with various backgrounds who wish to improve their skills in management science. Through this program, it is expected that new methods or concepts in management will be developed through researches conducted together by students, lecturers, industries, and government. Other than Quantitative Research Methods, the program also introduces Qualitative Methods in the first year of education as a basic alternative of research. SBM-ITB offers scholarships for the MSM program. Students are working closely with SBM ITB World Class Researchers and be a part of SBM ITB research engine Elective courses that are diverse, contextual, flexible, and yet covering in-depth materials Balanced curriculum for both career orientations: academics and industries. The structured program guides not only gives you major theory of management but also to apply research methods to existing and emerging contextual business problems. This MSM program aim to prepare the students to explore any career options as professional scholars, a carrier path that requires high analytical and research skils, such as consulting, analyst, policy development, or further education. The learning method and academic rigor from my past experience as a student, really helped my development as a lecturer in my current institution. I was taught to be creative when facing a certain problem and the learning environment have always encouraged me to keep a critical mindset when approaching certain matters related to my study. The most fascinating aspect of studying in MSM, is the egalitarian approach from almost every lecturer when interacting with students. As students, we were treated as equals, and it really helped our study in MSM. During the lecture, I get a lot of additional knowledge in the field of management, especially marketing management course which is my expertise. In addition, I also do a variety of scientific research as well as the chance to be a part-time tutor in Prodi S-1 SBM-ITB, it is an experience that I never imagined. In this program, I met with lecturer and faculty who are dedicated and committed to the science and academic life. In addition, I also met with friends who came from various universities and institutions in Indonesia. But, the lecture, environment, colleagues, and also the way the lecture teach us was help you a lot. At the time being, you can adapt easily and study comfortably. I took one of the major, Decision Making and Strategic Negotiation and learned a lot of things such as how to make a good decision, be creative and logic when you want to find the right way to get the solutions. These three example that I implemented in my job today nowadays.

The applicant who already has a TPA certificate from UPP Bappenas with a minimum score of 525 should submit the original certificate along with the supporting documents to SBM ITB Admission. Those who have got the TPA score should undertake the TPA on the schedule as described in SBM ITB website ( English Language Proficiency Test (ELPT) held by UPT Bahasa ITB with a minimum score of 101 or ITP-TOEFL from ETS.org with a minimum score of 525 (pbt) / 195 (cbt)/ 71 (ibt) or IELTS 6.0. The applicant who already has a TOEFL certificate from ETS.org or ELPT ITB or IELTS with the above score should submit the original certificate along with the supporting documents to the SBM ITB Admission.
