In today s world, it s difficult not to think about how we measure up to other parents whether they be our own, our friends and colleagues, or even the seemingly perfect parents we see in the media or down the street. We tend to put pressure on ourselves to be the very best parents all the time, when what we really need to keep in mind is that it s the simple connections our children will remember and cherish. Mother s Day is a perfect time to celebrate the little things we do with our children the special moments and the magical experiences that often happen unexpectedly. 6 Keagan (Grade 2) and Kyan White (Grade 4) who participated in the Aloe Wildlife 6 km trail run. It was a tough 6.8 km course, up and down steep hills and through rivers. Keagan (left) came 7th overall and was the first Junior Male (Under 11 category) home! Kyan (right) placed 52nd overall and was the 2nd Junior male home. Well done, boys! Matthew Coetzer (Grade 8) and the other Clifton gents who participated in the General Tyre Lifesaving South Africa INTER-PROVINCIAL Championships. Matthew was part of the KZN nippers team (U13/14) and the event was a combination of Stillwater and Ocean Lifesaving in 3 age group categories. The KZN team won the overall title. Well done, gents! Richard Castle (GR 6S) who completed his second Tour Durban 45km bike ride. He completed the ride in just over 2 hours. Well done, Richard! Connor Tully, John Munford and Matthew Adams pictured here with their team after their final cricket match in Sri Lanka. The boys were selected from an U16 tournament held last year. The trip included multiple sightseeing trips and six cricket matches. A fantastic experience.
