1 NCC REPORT ENROLMENT Our Company of army wing consists of 85 cadets started functioning for this academic year on 15 th July SOCIAL SERVICE AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT Blood Donation Camp was organised on 27/09/2017 in association with Red Cross, NSS, Students Council, Rangers and Rovers and Lions and Lioness Club- Brahmavara-Barkur, Rotary Club-Brahmavara and Lions Club-Santhekatte in which 120 units of blood were donated to Indian Red Cross Society, Kundapura. NCC Cadets have participated in Tree Plantation Programmes on 15/07/2017 in the college premises. In connection with Gandhi Jayanthi cadets tool oath and also volunteered to clean the campus as a part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Blood Donation Camp was organised on 07/03/2018 in association with Red Cross, NSS, Students Council, Rangers and Rovers and Lions and Lioness Club- Brahmavara-Barkur, Rotary Club-Brahmavara and Lions Club-Santhekatte in which 126 units of blood were donated to KMC, Manipal. YOGA DAY CELEBRATION On 21 st June, 2017, International Yoga Day was organised in which 40 cadets of our college and 100 cadets of SMS English Medium School have participated. Major G Balakrishna Shetty inaugurated the programme by lighting lamp. KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated on 26/07/2017. A presentation competition was conducted on Kargil War for NCC Cadets. WEAPON TRAINING Two Day Weapon training camp was organised for NCC Cadets on 29 th and 30 th December INDEPENDENCE DAY Independence Day was celebrated on 15/08/2017 Principal Prof. M. Sreepada hoisted the flag and addressed the gathering. He also distributed the prizes to the winners of Kargil Vijay Diwas Competition conducted by NCC Cadets. REPULIC DAY Republic Day was celebrated on 26/01/2018 Principal Prof. M. Sreepada hoisted the flag and addressed the gathering.

2 NCC DAY CELEBRATION NCC Day was celebrated on 06/11/2017. Major G. Balakrishna Shetty hoisted the flag and addressed the gathering. Treasure Hunt Competition was conducted by NCC Cadets. GUEST TALK Diabetes Awareness Programme was organised on 12/08/17 in association with Lions and Lioness Club and Rangers and Rovers in which 80 cadets of our company have participated. Mr. Prabath Kalkur was the resource person First Aid Programme was organised on 29/07/2017 in association Red Cross in which 79 cadets of our company have participated. Dr.Ramachandra Kamath was the resource person. A Programme on Communal Harmony was organised on 16/08/2017 in association with and Rangers and Rovers. Mr. Prasanth Shetty, Lecturer Dept. Of History, SMS College, Brahmavar was the resource person. A Programme on Waste Management was organised on 26/08/2017 in association with and NSS. Mr. James D Silva was the resource person.
