3 * On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, close to 5,700 students from 120 school gathered in the premises of IIT Mumbai to set a world record.. Our students, accompanied by their teacher, Ms. Prabhjot Kaur attended the workshop to train students to understand the benefits of solar energy and to make solar lamps. At 7.00 in the evening, the students, who had gathered at the institute s grounds, lit the lamps for five minutes. They brokethe record of Most LED lights lit simultaneously. * On 31 st October, our students paid tribute to the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, by celebrating Unity Day. The occasion provided us with an opportunity to reaffirm the inherent strength and resilience of our nation to withstand the actual and potential threats to the unity, integrity, and security of our country.

4 * Our Hindi teacher, Dr. Shalini Ranjan attended a workshop organized by MadhubanEducational Books on Hindi Language teaching. The workshop conducted by Dr. Pradeep Jain, focused on enhancing the teaching strategies of the attendees. The main agenda was to discuss National curriculum framework, syllabus format, preparation of lesson plans, learning outcomes etc. * Ms. Poonam Saund, our Hindi teacher attended a Hindi language workshop organized by the HR Department of Delhi Public Society from 10 th to 12 th September. The topic was Hindi in the Digital Age. The guest speakers were Dr Rajput, Director AIR; Dr. Sandhya Awasthi, Head of Department of Languages NCERT, Prof. Chand Kiran Saluja, Director, Sanskrit Promotion Foundation.

5 *Ananya Mehta of class VI F came 3rd in the Chess Competition organized by the Rotary Club, Mumbai on 27th October *Bhagyesh Kamal of Class-VII D has won Bronze medal in 29th Maharashtra Roller Hockey State Championship 2018 held at Nasik from 14th to 17th November He is the team member of Thane district Roller Hockey team. He also participated in DSO Inter School Navi Mumbai district roller skating competition 2018 and won overall First position held at Father Angels Vashi on 02nd October After winning 1st position in Rural Games Skating District Championship 2018 on 18 th November 2018 at Euroschool Rink,Airoli,Bhagyesh Kamal of class VII D was selected for RG Skating state Championship 2018, which was held on 25 th November 2018 at LXT International Rink, Pune and he won a Silver Medal. He has qualified for RG Skating National Championship (Under-16) 2018.
