3 3 Bioliner TM Plus System Developed by Five Star Orthodontic Lab and Supply, the Bioliner TM Plus Clear Aligner System is your solution for correcting minor to moderate rotation or spacing with aesthetic aligners. The key is our unique soft silicone insert that gently moves teeth up to 1 ½ mm per aligner compared to ¼ mm from similar systems! No more worrying about battling those pesky lower anterior and upper lateral rotations, our soft insert knocks them out!

4 4 What makes the Bioliner TM Plus so unique? **The Power of Thermal Silicone!** The unique thermal silicone insert makes the teeth more mobile and the trays more flexible. This allows tooth movement up to 1½ mm per series and gives you the confidence that the tray is going to fit. No need for an extra retainer The Plus (B) tray can also be worn as a retainer at the end of treatment. More Convenient, Less Expensive! Five Star also gives you the option of paying as you go. You can order one series at a time or as many series as needed to finish the case. This allows you to prevent the loss of unused trays from an uncooperative patient. 6 6 How do I start my case? In order to start your Bioliner TM case, simply send in PVS impressions, stone models, or an intra- oral scan. Once Five Star has received the models, the teeth will be reset to an ideal arch with our OrthoAnalyzer software, then 3D printed. The Bioliner TM Plus trays will be fabricated using those ultra accurate printed models. What do I get back with my case? Your trays will be fabricated upon doctor approval within 5 business days of arrival at the lab. Five Star will send you the Bioliner TM Plus trays along with a Tooth Movement Report and an IPR guide with each case. We also send Cheweez with each case to help speed treatment.

7 7 Treatment Expectations Week 1: Delivery of the Bioliner TM (A) tray. The A tray is designed to not seat fully at initial delivery. Bioliners TM work best when the anterior of the tray is allowed to pulse. The pulsing action creates the mobility that makes the Bioliner TM Plus so uniquely efficient. If you would like more retention, you can use the Bioliner TM Retention Dimple Plier to place a 1 mm dimple in the tray gingival to the height of contour of the 1 st molars. Week 3: Delivery of the Plus (B) tray. After the A tray has been worn for 2 weeks, the Plus (B) tray should be worn for an additional 2 weeks. If you need more retention, place the same retention dimple you placed on the A tray. What to do after 1 month: Deliver next A tray- If you ordered several series of Bioliner TM Plus trays, deliver the next A tray once the patient has worn the first B tray for 2 weeks. Call for new trays- If you only ordered one series of trays and the patient still needs more movement, simply call or with instructions for the next set of trays. Special requests are welcome. Continue to wear B tray as a retainer- Once the case is finished, the B tray can be worn as a final retainer. Place a Re- activation Dimple in the B tray- If a tooth has not moved to the intended reset position, use the Bioliner TM Re- activation Dimple plier to place a ½ mm dimple in the tray on any tooth where more movement is desired.

8 8 Five Star Bioliner TM Bur Block The Five Star Bioliner TM Bur Block contains the highest quality burs, discs, and polishing tools. *Manufactured with a patented process that creates the most evenly coated and durable diamond products on the market today. IPR Top: the fine grit, diamond coated mosquito bur trims around 0.4 mm. Bottom: 699L carbide bur is used for reducing the width of the bicuspids and molars. Trims around 1mm. Double- sided honeycomb design allows for improved visibility, greater flexibility, better contouring, and less gumming of the disc. Safe Side In/Out disk is diamond coated and can be used with or without a shield. Blue Scottish wheel is used to smooth out the edges of your tray. Tray Maintenance Bioliner TM polishing cone used to remove larger amounts of the plastic material. Vacuum form cutter is used to cut plastic away from the model.

9 9 Bioliner TM Buttons ***Bioliners TM do not require many attachments*** The silicone insert in the Bioliner TM usually does all of the work without the need for a button. However, there are certain cases in which a Bioliner TM Button can be very useful. Bioliner TM Buttons are specially designed with extension arms to help apply extra force in the direction of desired movement. Close Spaces Place the arms of the Bioliner TM Button vertically to help improve sliding of a tooth mesial or distal. Extrusion If ½ mm or less of extrusion is needed, place the arms of the Bioliner TM Button horizontally. Retention Improve retention by placing the arms of the Bioliner TM Button horizontally on your 1 st molars or canines. This technique is especially useful when lingual/labial torque corrections are requested.

10 10 Bioliner TM Plus Accessories Bioliner TM Retention Dimple Plier If you would like more retention from your Bioliner TM, place a 1mm dimple gingival to the contacts on your anchor teeth. It works just like a ball clasp. Facial Lingual Bioliner TM Re- activation Dimple Plier If a tooth has not moved to the intended reset position, place a ½mm re- activation dimple in the tray on any tooth where more movement is desired. Bioliner TM Button Bioliner TM Buttons are used to help close spaces, extrude teeth, and add retention. They are specially designed with extension arms to help apply extra force in the direction of desired movement. Comes in a pack of 10. Bioliner TM Button Matrix If you want us to place the Bioliner TM Buttons for you, we will send a matrix along with your Bioliner TM Plus trays. Simply fill the attachment spaces, fit the tray, and cure it. Bioliner TM Plus Marketing Materials Bioliner TM Plus marketing materials include trifolds, tabletop displays, and Bioliner TM samples. 11 11 IPR Accessories Bioliner TM IPR Bur Block This Bur Block has everything you need for IPR and Bioliner TM maintenance: Mesh disc, safe side in, safe side out, fine Scottish wheel, Bioliner TM polishing cone, vacuum form cutter, 699L bur, and mosquito bur. ET Flex IPR Kit The ET Flex comes with a block and 13 diamond coated strips ranging from fine to coarse, including a serrated strip used to break the contact. Strips come in single and double- sided grit. Honeycomb IPR Strips These IPR strips feature a honeycomb design and are diamond coated by a patented process that creates the most evenly coated and durable strip on the market. Comes in a pack of 10. Extra fine, fine and medium single sided grits available. Contouring Kit The Contouring Kit is another great option for IPR.
