1 International Student Admission into Undergraduate Degree Programs Admission into any undergraduate programme is based primarily on academic performance and standardized grades in the relevant subjects. A few of the minimum qualifications according to country of origin are listed in the table below. You can also apply with other equivalent qualifications. 4 Application Requirements The application form must be fully completed, and then submitted together with the following items before the deadline stated: Certified copies of A-Level and O-Level results or equivalents. Certified copies of official high school/college documents Certified clear copies of ALL pages of an international passport. The completed application form should be accompanied by: Certified copies of examination results/transcript. Certified English proficiency results: IELTS / TOEFL / CBT / IBT Step 2 UNIMAS will assess your application and if successful, you will be sent an offer package comprising: Letter of offer. Acceptance form that needs to be signed. Personal information form that needs to be filled in. Arrival Service Form University Dress Code Step 3 Complete the acceptance form, personal information form and arrival service form return together with: The first semester course fees (as stated in the offer letter). 5 Step 4 The UNIMAS International Affairs Division will arrange for your Visa Approval Letter. This will take approximately 3 weeks depending on your nationality. Step 5 Two copies of the Visa Approval Letter (VAL) will be sent to you at the address indicated in your application form. Students are required to inform the International Affairs Division, UNIMAS of any changes of address. You are advised to wait for the approval letter before travelling to Malaysia. You are required to bring the Visa Approval Letter (VAL) to the nearest Embassy/ High Commission in your area to obtain a single entry visa to enter into Malaysia. You can then proceed with your travel arrangements to Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. Please inform our International Affairs Division well in advance your arrival date, time and flight no. Step 6 Upon arrival you will be met by our International Affairs Division staff at the airport that will assist you with the entry process. You will then be taken to our campus for college registration and formal enrollment.
