2 BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO HANASPEAK Hanaspeak is an education company under a major company called NTEA VIETNAM GROUP. The company is providing Vietnamese teaching service for international learners. Our teacher team includes lingistic professors, masters and experienced teachers. Beside teaching in traditional ways, we also created an software which linked all our books to online system. Therefore, learners don't need to have a CD. Moreover, they can do interactive exercises and connect to other students. 2

3 Hanaspeak Training Joint Stock company is a Vietnamese language training company founded by Phạm Hương in Now, it's a joint stock company under NTEA VIETNAM GROUP. NTEA VIETNAM GROUP is a major company in Vietnam with six member companies. START 2013 MARCH 2017 In 2017, Huong's husband took her idea to apply 4.0 Technology to education and began to research the technology needed to link her Vietnamese course books to an online learning software by QR code system. On 2017 September, they were invited to Bangkok by Jason Weimer, the founder and CEO of Simple Group - an international company, and coached about software completion. SEPTEMBER 2017 The alpha version of the software was completed one month after their return from Bangkok. DECEMBER 2017 Simple Group and her husband signed a contract to handover the software to Hanaspeak on 21 December Now Hanaspeak is owner of the software and allowed to use American design brand for the course books. Hanaspeak s headquarters are located at 227 Trích Sài, Tây Hồ, Hà Nội, and a second branch is located at 30 Miếu Đầm, Nam Từ Liêm, Hà Nội. 6 C O M PA N Y MEMBER Our teachers have attained Doctor, Master and BA degrees from language universities and have experience in teaching Vietnamese. We also provide training and coaching for our teachers once a week. Our teachers are required to prepare detailed lesson plans for each class. 7 TRAINING PROGRAMS To help students speak Vietnamese fluently, we have created fours training programs, namely Level A, Level B, Level C and Vietnamese Business Language Training Program. We combined both in class lessons and online self-studying lessons so that the students can learn easily and intelligently. We also encourge our students practice as much as possible. Therefore, we created educational tours which help students to have the opportunity to speak to native speakers with different accents, as well as create lasting friendships with others in the program. 7 7

8 LEVEL A The aim of this course is to teach pronunciation skills and improve learners communication abilities in Vietnamese. The course content not only focuses on pronunciation, simple structures and vocabulary but also teaches learners the dialogues of most immediate relevance to daily situations. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: Pronounce lexemes, phrases and sentences clearly Understand and respond naturally when participating in simple conversations and routine tasks Comfortably communicate using basic to pre-intermediate expressions (e.g., personal introductions, asking and answering questions about personal details - address, employment, habits, hobbies, etc.) Utilize the various vocabulary items needed to communicate about daily life and specialist knowledge (e.g., food, drink, transportation, weather, shopping, day, month, common places in Vietnam, etc.) Describe in simple terms relevant aspects of their background, present environment and matters of immediate need 8

9 VIETNAMESE BUSINESS LANGUAGE The Vietnamese business training course is designed for businessmen and other professionals who are working or will work in Vietnam for an extended period of time. The course focuses on the common conversations that learners will have around the office. Additionally, learners will receive training to develop their abilities in the four major communication skills listening, reading, speaking and writing all in relation to a business context. This course is a perfect bridge from the beginner level to the intermediate level. 10 LEVEL B The aim of the course is to develop Vietnamese language skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing by having learners engage in a range of communicative tasks and activities. The course translates theory into practice to help students respond in Vietnamese quickly and naturally. It includes practical lessons in which students and native teachers will discuss familiar matters in daily activities. The course expands the learner s use of grammatically correct and situationally and culturally appropriate language in speaking and writing for effective communication in a variety of interpersonal and academic situations. By the end of the course, a student should be able to: Understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters encountered in daily life Deal with most situations likely to arise when coming to places where the language is spoken Create simple connected conversations on topics which are familiar or of personal interest Know how to express their thoughts deeply, and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans; Understand the main ideas of complex texts regarding both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/ her field of specialization; Interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers possible and without strain for either party; Write well and expressively, with an ear for different voices; Present effectively. 10

11 11 7 LEVEL C The advanced course will not only help learners develop their professional skills in speaking Vietnamese but will also give them the ability to read and understand complex texts such as articles about history and economics. By the end of this course, students will be able to: Interact with spoken and written academic content Demonstrate the ability to think critically Utilize information and digital literacy skills Demonstrate behavior and attitudes appropriate to Vietnamese culture Understand a wide range of demanding, lengthy texts and recognize implicit meaning Express themselves fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions Use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes Understand dialogues spoken at a high-speed, even with hidden meanings Tell long stories and give long presentations Read and understand academic documents Develop complex spoken and academic grammar
