January 22-23, 2009 attended South Central District Called Worker Conference at Camp Shiloh, TX. January 26, met with missionary at Victory of the Lamb in Franklin, WI. January 27, 2009 attended Southeastern Wisconsin District Mission Board Meeting at St. Paul s in Muskego, WI. January 28, 2009 met with missionary and his wife at Hope in Hampton, GA. January 28, 2009 South Atlantic District Mission Board Teleconference. February 3, 2009 Presented Taking Risks and Failing Forward at Mission and Ministry Seminar at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. February 4-6, 2009 attended South Atlantic District Pastor/Teacher/Staff Minister Conference in Lido Key (Sarasota), FL. Met with missionaries along with members of South Atlantic District Mission Board. February 8, 2008 Conducted planning workshop at Crown of Glory in Orlando, FL. February 10-11, 2009 attended and presented Taking Risks and Failing Forward and The Ideal Mission Field at Evangelical Lutheran Synod Missionaries Conference in Orlando, FL. Met with Evangelical Lutheran Synod Home Mission Board. February 14-16, 2009 attended first service (soft opening) at Amazing Love in New Lenox, IL. February 17-19, 2009 Visited Open Bible at The Villages, FL to view the progress on their construction project and to conduct a planning workshop for the congregation. February 19, 2009 meeting with missionary and congregational leader at Hope in Hampton, GA. February 21-22, 2009 Met with missionary at Amazing Grace in Myrtle Beach, SC. Conducted a budget planning workshop for the congregation. Attended worship and Bible class. Wrote up a review of the service and sermon for the missionary.

2 February 24-27, 2009 visited King of Kings in Alexandria, LA. Met with missionary. More demographic study. Met with congregation concerning relocation, vision and strategy for outreach. March 1, 2009 could not attend Dedication Service at Our Savior in Birmingham, AL because of snow in Atlanta, GA. March 6-9, 2009 worked with missionary and congregation in Killeen, TX. Presented Building Bridges seminar. Wrote up a review of the service and sermon for the missionary. March 7, 2009 presentation to Lutheran Women s Missionary Society in Temple, TX. March 10, 2009 met with missionary at Hope in Hampton, GA. March 11, 2009 meeting and lunch with Travel Canvas Witness team at Hope in Hampton, GA. March 16-20, 2009 Demographics study in Weslaco, TX. Met with pastor and congregational leadership as well as congregation at Abiding Savior. Did congregational analysis. March 22, 2009 attended worship and Bible study at Mighty Fortress in Dallas, GA. Gave written review of service and sermon to missionary. Visited job site and viewed progress on construction of their building. Met with building committee chairman. March 23-27, 2009 Demographics study in Norman, OK. Met with Holy Cross congregation in Oklahoma City, OK. Met with pastor at Gethsemane in Oklahoma City, OK. March 29, 2009 attended meeting at Hope in Hampton, GA as South Atlantic District Mission Board representative. Preschool Board Chairman announced the termination of Preschool Director. I offered suggestions in regard to how to proceed at this time. April 4-9, 2009 my wife and I attended Open House in Killeen, TX and assisted with follow up work. April 20, 2009 presentation to Peachtree Circuit Pastors on Structuring Your Congregation for the 21 st Century. April attended Staff Ministers Conference in Washington, DC and made presentation on Setting God Pleasing Priorities. April 26, attended worship and part of Bible study at Abiding Grace in Covington, GA. Gave written review of service and sermon to missionary. April Met with St. Matthew s congregational leadership and congregation in Niles, IL for congregational analysis and possibility of starting mentoring program. Did some demographic study. Met with pastor from St. Matthew s. April 30, 2008 met with Hispanic missionary from Risen Savior in Milwaukee, WI. May 1-2, 2009 attended Board for Home Missions Meeting in Milwaukee, WI. Presented devotion. Attended mission counselors meeting. May 4-6, 2009 Cottonbelt Pastors Conference in Birmingham, AL. May 4, 2009 met with missionary from Hope in Hampton, GA. May 7, 2009 met with leadership from Abiding Grace in Covington, GA to discuss leadership principles such as signs of spiritual maturity in leaders and making the most of meetings. 2

3 May 11, 2009 meeting with missionary and his wife at Amazing Love in New Lenox, IL. May 12, 2009 Southeastern Wisconsin District Mission Board meeting at Amazing Love in New Lenox, IL. May 12-14, 2009 meeting with Lord and Savior congregational leadership and congregation in Crystal Lake, IL for congregational analysis and possibility of starting mentoring program. Drove the area with pastor. May 15-17, 2009 met with missionary and congregational leadership at Abiding Peace in Elgin, IL. Attended Open House for leadership on Friday night. Presenting Building Bridges seminar on Saturday. Presented Taking Risks and Failing Forward for Sunday Bible Class. Attended worship and gave written review of service and sermon to the pastor. June 5, 2009 South Central District Mission Board Meeting in Dallas, TX. I presented Developing a Philosophy of Ministry for the South Central District Mission Board. June 8-11, 2009 attended South Atlantic District Conference. Discussion of BORAM. President Mark Schroeder was there to discuss the financial situation of the synod. Took summer quarter course on The Apostle Paul and Culture presented by Seminary President Paul Wendland. July 6-8, 2009 South Atlantic District Mission Board Annual Planning Retreat in Charleston, SC. July 13-17, 2009 Did demographic study of Fort Worth/Keller area for consideration of the start of another mission in the South Central District in cooperation with Immanuel Lutheran Church and Pastor Brian Doebler. July 19, 2009 attended worship at Faith in Sharpsburg, GA. Gave written review of service and sermon to the pastor. July 21, 2009 met with missionary at Hope in Hampton, GA. July 24, 2009 met with Synod Convention Lay Delegate from Faith in Sharpsburg, GA. July 24, 2009 attended 10 th anniversary celebration for missionary at Faith in Sharpsburg, GA. July 27-31, 2009 attended Synod Convention in Saginaw, MI as a voting pastoral delegate and served as Recording Secretary for Miscellaneous Memorials Committee as well as a blogger. August 3, 2009 luncheon meeting with pastor at Salem Eastside in Milwaukee, WI as follow up to Mission Encouragement program. August 4-5, 2009 attended Southeastern Wisconsin District Mission Board Annual Planning Retreat in Koshkonong, WI. August 9, 2009 preached and did Bible class at Mighty Fortress in Dallas, GA, so Pastor Piepenbrink can preach at Hope in Hampton, GA. August 10-12, 2009 meeting with Ascension Lutheran Church in Crossville, TN in regard to land search. Met with missionary and his wife. Met with leadership. Look at possible church sites and one church for sale. August 12-14, 2009 met with pastor and members of Shepherd of the Hills in Knoxville, TN. 3

Met with outreach committee to consider future strategies. Did written review of worship service and sermon. September 3, 2009 attended and participated in installation of John Stelljes at mission in Greenwood, IN. September 20, 2009 preached for Dedication Service at Mighty Fortress in Dallas, GA. September 21-22, 2009 attended Fall Symposium at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary on Congregational Health. September 23, 2009 luncheon meeting with missionary at Living Word in SW Waukesha, WI. September 24, 2009 met with missionary and his wife at Victory of the Lamb in Franklin, WI. Met also with Pastor Peter Panitzke from St. Paul s in Muskego, WI. September 25-26, 2009 attended Board for Home Missions meeting in Milwaukee, WI. September 27, 2009 attended worship service at Victory of the Lamb in Franklin, WI. Did written review of worship service and sermon. October 1-5, 2009 met with missionary and leadership at Risen Savior in Navarre, FL. Did an evaluation of the missionary s ministry. Attended Bible class and worship service. Did written review of Bible class, worship service and sermon. October 7-9, 2009 attended the South Central Family Conference in Galveston, TX. October 10, 2009 met with missionary and his outreach chairman in Pinehurst, TX. October 11, 2009 Conducted planning workshop for the leadership at Victory of the Lamb in Katy, TX. Attended worship service. October 11, 2009 attended worship at Sienna Plantation, TX. Did written review of the worship service and the sermon. Spoke to the congregation after the service. October 19-21, 2009 attended Cottonbelt Pastors Conference in Smyrna, TN. October 23-25, 2009 presenter at School of Outreach in Downers Grove, IL. Consulted with Amazing Love in New Lenox, IL and with Gloria Dei in Tinley Park, IL. October 25, 2009 attended worship and Bible class at Gloria Dei in Tinley Park, IL. Did a written review of service, sermon and Bible class. October 26-28, 2009 met with missionary at New Hope in Racine, WI. October 26, 2009 attended confirmation class taught by missionary at New Hope in Racine, WI. Attended pastors study group in Racine, WI. October 27, 2009 attended Bible Information Class at New Hope in Racine, WI. November 2-4, 2009 mentoring meeting with leadership and pastors at Woodlawn Lutheran Church in West Allis, WI. November 5-7, 2009 attended Church and Change Conference in Milwaukee, WI. November 6, 2009 met with missionary from Rochester, MN to discuss congregational structure and how to raise up leaders. November 8, 2009 attended and participated in the commissioning of Pastor Paul Seager as missionary to Alliance Airport area, Ft. Worth, TX. November 9-12 did demographic studies in Marble Falls, TX with staff minister, Robert Hill. 4

5 November 11, 2009 met with South Central District Mission Board Chairman, South Central District First Vice-President and Staff Minister Robert Hill to discuss the demographics of Marble Falls and plot a strategy for Living Word in Marble Falls, TX. November 11, 2009 South Central District Mission Board Conference Call to discuss the prioritization of the requests. November 11, 2009 met with congregational members of Living Word in Marble Falls, TX to discuss the demographics and explore the possibilities for the congregation. November 12, 2009 met with pastor from Divine Peace in Garland, TX to discuss building plans, vision for the congregation and planning. November 13-15, 2009 visited Christ the King in Palm Coast, FL to participate in their third annual Community Carnival as parking lot attendant. Visited their construction site. Attended worship. Did written review of the worship service and the sermon. November 18, 2009 telephone coaching session with pastor at Weslaco, TX. November 18, 2009 South Atlantic District Mission Board Conference Call to discuss the priority of requests. November 19-21, 2009 met with missionary and his wife at Light of Life in Greenwood, IN, along with Mark Blauert, Adam Mueller, and Don Kemerly. Also attended Vision Meeting of core group. November 22, 2009 preached for Mission Festival at Bethlehem in Carmel, IN. November 25, 2009 telephone coaching session with missionary at Round Rock, TX. November 25, 2009 attended worship service at Amazing Grace in Covington, GA. Did written review of service and sermon. November attended worship service at Faith in Sharpsburg, GA. Did written review of service and sermon. November 30, 2009 meeting with pastor at Salem Eastside in Milwaukee, WI. December 1,2009 attended Southeastern Wisconsin District Mission Board meeting at Family of Hope in Milwaukee, WI. December 2, 2009 attended Midweek Advent Service at Risen Savior in Milwaukee, WI. Did written review of service and sermon. December 2-3, 2009 mentoring meeting with pastors and leadership at St. Lucas in Kewaskum, WI. December 6, 2009 attended worship at Abiding Grace in Covington, GA. Did written review of service and sermon. December 7-11, 2009 demographic studies in Braselton, GA. December 13, 2009 attended worship at The Point of Grace in Milwaukee, WI. Did written review of worship service and sermon. Met with campus pastor at The Point of Grace. December 13, 2009 met with Pastor Ken Fisher and his wife at Risen Savior in Milwaukee, WI. December 14-15, 2009 attended Mission Counselors meeting in Milwaukee, WI. December 16, 2009 telephone coaching session with pastor at Weslaco, TX. Telephone coaching session with missionary at Round Rock, TX. December 19-20, 2009 Met with the pastor at Shepherd of the Palms in Jupiter, FL and his wife on Saturday concerning the closing of the church and their future plans. 5

6 Attended the last Sunday morning service at Shepherd of the Palms in Jupiter, FL. (This congregation is shutting down.) Did written review of the service and the sermon. December 22, 2009 visited of Hope in Hampton, GA who is in Hospice Care in Perry, GA. Had devotion and prayer. Visited with his sons and grandson. December 26, visited of Hope in Hampton, GA who is in Hospice Care in Perry, GA. Had devotion and prayer. Visited with his son and daughter-in-law. Where I will be and what I plan to do, God willing: January 6-8, 2010 demographic studies for new community in Daytona Beach, FL area. I will also work with Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary Winterim Students in regard to interviewing people as part of the demographic study. (I had to cut this short to attend my grandmother s funeral on January 9 in Marshfield, WI.) January 14, 2010 meet with elders and missionary at Christ the Rock in Round Rock, TX as part of the mentoring program. January 15, 2010 meet with missionary at Christ the Rock in Round Rock, TX. January 16, 2010 meet with Missionary Karl Gurgel concerning the work in Pflugerville, TX (Holy Word II). January 17, 2010 attend worship at Christ the Rock in Round Rock, TX. Meet with congregation to do SCOOT analysis as part of mentoring program. January 19-20, 2010 attending South Central District Mission Board meeting. January 21-22, 2010 attending South Central Pastor/Teacher/Delegate Conference. Meet with pastor at Abiding Savior in Weslaco, TX. January 24, 2010 presenting seminar on Setting God-pleasing Priorities at Beautiful Savior in Marietta, GA. January 225, 2010 meeting with South Atlantic District mission board member. January 26, 2010 meeting with Caribbean missionaries and representatives from South Atlantic District Mission Board. January 27-29, 2010 attending South Atlantic District Pastor/Teacher/Staff Minister Conference in Doral, FL. February 1, 2010 Southeastern Wisconsin District Mission Board meeting at St. Peter s in Milwaukee, WI. February 2, 2010 attending Mission and Ministry at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. I will present The Four Dimensions of Congregational Planning. Also meeting with seminary faculty. February 3-7, 2010 mentoring visit with St. Matthew s in Niles, IL. Presenting Heaven Bound/Heaven Sent seminar to the congregation as well as Follow-Up Visitation Training to adult Bible class. February 8-10, 2010 presenting The Four Dimensions of Congregational Planning and conducting congregational assessment with the church leadership at St. Paul s in Beverly Hills, FL as the beginning of the mentoring program. February 19-21, 2010 involvement with Dedication Service at Open Bible in The Villages, FL (parking lot attendant). 6

March 16, 2009 meeting with pastor and leadership at Living Savior in Asheville, NC to discuss planning, etc. March 19-24, 2010 involvement with Light of Life in Greenwood, IN in regard to their Grand Opening Service on March 21. Will assist with their community carnival on March 20 (parking lot attendant). Will do follow up work after Grand Opening Service. March 26-31, 2010 involvement with Grace Alone in Fort Worth, TX in regard to their Grand Opening Service on March 28 (parking lot attendant). Will do follow up work after Grand Opening Service. April 14-18, 2010 mentoring visit with Lord and Savior in Crystal Lake, IL. Presenting Heaven Bound/Heaven Sent seminar to the congregation as well as Follow Up Visitation to adult Bible class. February 12-15, 2010 personal days with my wife in Savannah, GA. March 5-11, 2010 will take care of my granddaughter as her parents go on a cruise. April 3-11, 2010 Spring Break with my wife in Gatlinburg, GA. April 21, 2010 due date for the birth of my second granddaughter. Grandchild will be born in Germany. July 1-31, 2010 trip to Germany with my wife to visit my daughter and son-in-law and our second granddaughter, God willing. Plan to see the Tour de France at least twice.
