This meeting is being held pursuant to the policies and procedures adopted by Highlands County and required by Florida Statue. 2. The notice of this meeting was advertised in the HIGHLANDS TODAY and on floridapublicnotices.com on; November 11 th & 18 th, A copy of the notice has been made part of the official records of this meeting. 3. Brief minutes of this meeting are being taken and copies of such minutes may be viewed or obtained through the Public Information Officer at 600 S. Commerce Avenue, Sebring, Florida. 4. Pre-Bid Meeting is Mandatory; please sign-in. 4. (RFI) Request for Information: Cut-Off Date and Time is Wednesday; December 5 th, All requests must be in writing to Danielle Gilbert, dgilbert@hcbcc.org. Responses to all questions and or clarifications will be addressed by addenda, which will be ed to all Pre-Bid attendees and be posted to the Web: 5. Bid Opening date is Thursday, December 13 th at 2:00 p.m. in the Highlands County Purchasing Department located at 4320 George Boulevard, Sebring, FL Late Bids will not be accepted. The Board will not be responsible for late deliveries of bids that are incorrectly addressed, delivered in person, by mail or any other type of delivery service. 7. 3 9. The Awarded Contractor shall be required to keep the building secure and in full operations as a Volunteer Fire Department Building during the entire length of the construction project. The Volunteer Fire Department will cooperate with the Contractor regarding temporary relocation of vehicles during the day; the building shall be secured each night before the contractor leaves. 10. The Awarded Contractor shall not discuss any changes with concerned citizens, firefighters or the Chief of the Fire Department; any changes or deviations from the specifications may only be authorized by the Project Manager, Mr. Jimmy Branca. 11.
