7 Prospectus Postgraduate Studies HISTORY OF DUHS S i r H u g h D o w was the second Governor of Sindh. He laid the foundation stone of the Dow Medical College in December YEARS LATER Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan Present Governor of Sindh. Established Dow University of Health Sciences Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan took the initiative for the establishment of the Dow University of Health Sciences. He is a Dow Graduate. He was appointed as Governor of Sindh in 2002 and ever since is striving to upgrade the facilities of medical education and health care in Sindh. MASOOD HAMEED KHAN Tamgha-e-Imtiaz Founding Vice Chancellor Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi Dow University of Health Sciences is one of the most renowned educational institutions of Pakistan. Since its establishment in December 2003, the University has been the fastest growing medical institution of the country.
