The workshop was attended by 40 college teachers from all over Bangladesh. 2013a Attended as one of the five designated panel experts for Draft Research Report Presentation Workshop under the project entitled Strengthening National Planning and Development Academy (2 nd Phase) through the Development of Infrastructure and Training Facilities by National Planning and Training Academy at the academy building on May the 4 th. Eight draft research projects were presented by eight research teams, evaluated by the panel experts. 2013b Presented a paper entitled Globalization s Children and the Shahbagh Movement (in Bangla) as one of the two designated presenters for a thematic seminar entitled Peoples Rights and Movements: Recent Experience organized by Bangladesh Sociology Association at Senate Building, University of Dhaka on 19 April c Attended as a designated speaker for a round table conference entitled Livelihood for Disabled People: Opportunities and Challenges jointly organized by Leonard Cheshire Disability Bangladesh and the Daily Star on March the 31 st. Approximately 40 participants from international agencies, local NGOs, journalists, experts and other civil society groups participated in the seminar. The Daily Star published a special supplementary on the conference. 2013d Paper entitled The State of Labour Movements in the Readymade Garments Industry in Bangladesh in the era of Globalization was presented in the Security and Foreign policy session on 16 March, as part of the two day national seminar organized by the Asiatic Society of Bangladesh from March 15 to 16. The theme of the conference was Bangladesh at 40: Achievements and Challenges.
