Approximately 40 participants from international agencies, local NGOs, journalists, experts and other civil society groups participated in the seminar. The Daily Star published a special supplementary on the conference. 2013d Paper entitled The State of Labour Movements in the Readymade Garments Industry in Bangladesh in the era of Globalization was presented in the Security and Foreign policy session on 16 March, as part of the two day national seminar organized by the Asiatic Society of Bangladesh from March 15 to 16. The theme of the conference was Bangladesh at 40: Achievements and Challenges.
