3 Executive Summary With great pleasure, wish to communicate that the Bengaluru Chapter Alumni meet was organized on November 11, 2017 at the prestigious The WELCOMEHOTEL. The celebration provided a platform for alumni from classes of 2006 to 2017 to renew friendships, network, and learn about UPES s news since they have left their alma mater. It was lovely to witness so many sentimental reunions between friends who had not seen each other for years. The shared moments captured the spirit of Reunion 2017, which brought alumni together to continue and expand the UPES experience. The weekend was a team effort, and one that used technology and social media to engage every member of the community, near and far. The event was kicked off by Ms. Alka Madhan, Director (Corporate Relations) stating, these Alumni Reunions are a meeting point where former students from all over the country and members of the UPES faculty and management team can get together and strengthen the bonds between them and share knowledge. She invited Mr. Utpal Ghosh, CEO & President to address. He gave an update on the latest happenings at UPES, proudly shared the various achievements of the students and the university s plan to strengthen its alumni network. He also extended an invite to all present for #MYNEWUPES Launch on 16 th November 2017.

4 It was heartening to see Alumni s interest in knowing about the new programs being launched at UPES and how university is supporting these programs through Co Branding, infrastructre development and new recruiting organization. The highlight of the afternoon was the motivational lecture by Dr. Arun Kumar Ranganathan- Associate Vice President, Heading Domain & Consulting group of Energy and Utilities & Services, Infosys. Mr. Brajesh Kumar Raman, Alumnus of Batch of B.Tech applied petroleum engineering currently working with CGI Bengaluru as Lead Business Analyst was felicitated as best alumni from Bengaluru chapter for outstanding contribution and guidance to the Bengaluru chapter alumni and continuous support in placements. Many suggestions came for ways to strengthen the link between the current students and the alumni for their support in the areas of training, placement, career counseling, guest lectures and many more.

5 Ms. Debraoh Smith, Ms. Seema Bedi and Mr. Prateek Kala were seen very actively involved in capturing the latest coordinates of each alumni during the meet, apart from getting an exclusive photo-shoot of each alumni. Some of the Shining Stars were also interviewed, through a vide shoot the meet about their experience at UPES and life afterwards. The event ended with sumptuous Lunch served by the hotel also providing, opportunity for networking between the former students, and senior staff members from UPES who attended the event.
