On receipt of your deposit we will reserve your course and accommodation. By return post, fax or you will receive confirmation of your course and outstanding fees as well as detailed information for your journey and stay. Approximately 0 days before the course starts and once full payment has been received, CLIC IH will send you the accommodation address and a map of Seville. Last minute enrolments: students who enrol fewer than days prior to the course starting date are required to pay all fees upon enrolment. For our General Intensive, Spanish for Life and Academic Year courses, the minimum age is. For an Executive Mini Group course, you must be. We also offer a Summer Course for Teenagers with a minimum age of and a MasterClass course for the 0 + participants. When can I start a course? If you are a beginner, you must start on the specific start dates (almost every other Monday). If you have some Spanish language knowledge, you may start on any Monday. How long is each lesson? Each lesson has a duration of 0 minutes. How do I select the course that is right for me? This depends on your length of stay and personal needs. For example, students who are staying for longer periods of time generally prefer our General Intensive lessons of 0 minutes each per day. Others, who only have a few weeks to learn and want to achieve the maximum benefit in Spanish language learning in a limited time, prefer to choose lessons per week or the Executive Mini-Group with or lessons, the Executive Elite or One-to- One courses. CLIC IH also offers many special courses and complementary workshops including: Business Spanish, DELE Preparation (Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language exam, held in May, August and November), Masterclass (for over 0 year old participants), Methodology and Spanish Culture, the Madrid Chamber of Commerce exam and also a renowned Teacher Training Programme. Do I get special support if I have any particular difficulty? Yes, apart from your course, you get additional free tutorials to help you and guarantee your progress. Can I change my course or classes once I have started? Yes, of course. If you do not feel that you are in the appropriate level, you are welcome to speak to your teacher or the Director of Studies who will help you with a solution. Yes, our long term Spanish for Life courses are recognised by the CSN and we will provide you with all the required paperwork. Do you make up classes that are missed due to holidays? Only One-to-One classes are made up, please check the public holidays in the school brochure before confirming your enrolment. ACCOMDATION How far in advance do I need to complete my reservation? We recommend you to reserve your accommodation at least month in advance. Seville is a popular tourist destination and if you wish to book accommodation during high season (Easter Week and The April Fair) we advise you to make the reservation as soon as possible. We also do accept last minute reservations; please check accommodation availability with us. Will you tell me how to get from my housing to the school? With the address and description of the host family you also receive a location map. All our accommodations are within walking distance maximum minutes, you need no public transport and your hosts will indicate you the best way to go. Can I book any extra nights? Yes, you can check in on Saturday and check out on Sunday if you wish. There is an extra fee for any extra nights. Should you need additional nights, we will help you to find a suitable hostel, pension or hotel. Who do I speak to regarding my arrival time to my accommodation? Please contact your host directly a few days in advance. This is a nice way for a first contact. Should you not feel comfortable speaking Spanish on the phone, you can also send the information to CLIC and we will pass it on to the host. Can I make and receive calls from my accommodation? This depends on the type of accommodation you have: Residence hall: You can receive calls in certain residences, which are equipped with a public phone. Spanish family/shared flat: You can receive calls after checking convenient times with the hosts. Own apartment: No telephone is available. If you stay for longer you may wish to purchase a Spanish cell phone with a prepaid card (app. 0 Euros including some Euros of credit).there are also companies renting cell phones. Are electricity and water included in my accommodation or do I need to pay separately? Residence Hall, Shared flat, Family: electricity and water are included in your payment. If I find another apartment or accommodation can I leave my current accommodation with CLIC IH without penalty? We require notice should you decide to change your accommodation. CLIC IH will do everything possible to ensure that your stay meets your expectations. We also organise frequent weekend excursions to Granada and Morocco Can I work in Spain if I am studying with CLIC IH? Some EU students may find a job in Seville. However, things are complicated for non EU citizens since they cannot easily obtain a work permit. CLIC IH does not offer a job placement service and generally it is very difficult to find a job in Andalusia! When is CLIC IH open? Our school hours are Monday to Thursday from 9:00 until :00 and Fridays until :00. We are not open at weekends or on public holidays, with the exception of our weekend emergency service for new arrivals who can be reached in the school on Sundays between and hours.
