1 School Fees for the 2018/2019 School year (EUR) St George's International School Luxembourg is a non-profit making entity and currently receives a subsidy from the Luxembourg State towards payment of operating expenses, buildings maintenance costs and new buildings. The fees set out below have been calculated after taking this subsidy into account. Charges When Joining The School Application Fee 750 is payable once only per student when the Application Form is submitted to the School. Deposit (Refundable) 450 will be included in the first invoice for each new student. This amount is payable once only. Annual School Fees The Annual School Fees include 3 items: 1. Tuition Fees These are specific to each year group and detailed further below, on pages 3 to Building Fund 1,100 will be billed once per year per student, with a maximum of two payments per family. This amount serves to finance the School s expenditure on buildings and equipment. 3. Stability Fund 600 will be billed once per year per student, with a maximum of two payments per family. This amount serves to provide the School with a financial reserve for years when a deficit is made on School operations. Additional Charges: The Extras charges (canteen, after-school activities, etc) will be billed per term in November, February and July and are to be paid within 30 days. Any student receiving additional individual support within School will be charged an additional fee which would be discussed with the respective parents. 2 Notes Parents are reminded that they are responsible for payment of all sums due, regardless of any subsidies provided by their employer(s). Parents paying their own School fees will be billed in 4 parts (see details on the following pages). Companies will be billed once for the annual School fees. A limited number of Assisted Places are available. Please contact the Finance and Administration Manager if you wish to take advantage of this possibility. School reports may be retained until all outstanding invoices are paid. The School reserves the right to charge interest on overdue bills and a 40 administrative fee. When leaving the School The Application Form signed when joining the School contains an important contractual condition concerning the notice of leaving: I/We undertake to give, in writing to the Finance and Administration Manager, notice of withdrawal of my/our child and accept, in default of such notice, to pay one third of the applicable annual tuition fees in lieu of notice. The notice must be received at THE LATEST BY: 30 th September for withdrawal at the end of the Autumn term (September-December) 30 th January for withdrawal at the end of the Spring term (January-Easter) 30 th April for withdrawal at the end of the Summer term (Easter-June) In the exceptional case that your child would be leaving in the middle of a term, please note the requested notice is a full 3 months. Where applicable, you should inform your employer(s) of this clause. The deposit will be refunded in the form of a deduction in the last Extras bill, provided that all other fees and charges have been paid, and that correct notice of withdrawal has been received by the Finance and Administration Manager.
