3 Representing French higher education in the world 3 EPIC established by decree on December 30, 2011, in implementation of legislation passed on July 27, 2010 represents a merger of GIP CampusFrance, Égide, and the international activities of CNOUS, the French national student-service agency. operates under the oversight of the French ministries of Foreign Affairs and of Higher Education and Research. It cooperates closely with French institutions of higher education and their associations and conferences.
