6 2. Take and Pass Specific Courses There are two curriculum pathways to be eligible for graduation: A. College Preparatory/ Work-Ready Graduation Requirements -or- B. Core Curriculum Graduation Requirements

College Preparatory / Work Ready Course Requirements 4 English 3 Math Algebra I (required) and two higher-level courses Must be earned in grades 9 12, math courses in MS are electives 3 Science Biology (required) and two other lab science credits 3 Social Studies (All required) United States Government (.5), Oklahoma History (.5), United States History and World History 2 The same Foreign Language OR Computer Technology (Based on the requirements of chosen college) 1 Additional core credit selected from any of the above (OK Promise Participants must choose from specific courses) 7 Electives One set of Fine Arts competencies obtained in History classes 2014 Graduates must complete Financial Literacy Passport curriculum See Course Planning Guide for specific class requirements Check your chosen college for other admissions requirements

11 3. End-of-Instruction/EOI Tests Changes to the Law effect you: TO RECEIVE A DIPLOMA All 3 of the following must be met: 1. Must pass: English 10 Algebra 1 2. Must pass two of the following: English 11, Geometry, Algebra II Biology, US History 3. Must take all tests even if you ve met the above passing scores.

13 What if I miss or fail an EOI? Tests can be taken or retaken only during the state-designated testing windows. Free REMEDIATION is offered 2x/year Check with the Guidance Office if you have questions or want to re-take a test
14 4. Financial Literacy Passport 2014 Graduates: During grades 7 12, must show competency in 14 areas of financial education to receive a diploma. High School classes that meet this requirement: 1. Financial Literacy 2. ROTC I 3. Math of Finance

Changes can then be made due to errors, outside credit earned or lack of prerequisite (per Student Handbook)
