Annual Report 2017-18 Respected Guests & Dear Members of ACE family, Greetings. It is an immense pleasure for us to read out the annual report for 2017-18 of our Academy on its foundation day. It was founded on 2 nd October, 2002 and it has been chasing its vision and mission defined in 2008 with the guidance by our revered teachers and senior brothers and sisters. The vision and mission statements of ACE are: Vision: To be an institute recognized for imparting coaching and encouraging research in commerce education and to produce market fit students. Mission: To build the career of the students at the earliest and continuously guide them to feel easy with professional courses along with their academic studies. To increase intellectual capital of the nation by developing analytical and logical thinking process. The technology has brought a revolution in the learning process for the students. Adapting with the technology, an App has been developed for ACE. The aim of the App is to provide 360 degree help to the students for academic and competitive examinations. The App is freely available on play store. Activities: Our faculties are driving the academy and guiding the students not only in teaching but also in research and in conducting curricular activities. Our faculties N.Srinivas Rao, Md.Khursid, Jnanaranjan Das, Y.Padmavati and Samir Patra presented their research papers at Indian Accounting Association Conference, Udaipur, Rajasthan. At the Academy, curricular activities are conducted for enriching knowledge of the students and encouraging the competitive spirit among them. The activities in this year were: 8 th Accounting Quotient (AQ) test was conducted on 26 th January 2018 and at the prize distribution ceremony CA N.V.Bhaskar Rao, CA Sailesh Saha, CA Sneha Singhi and CA Manmath Kumar Sahoo delivered the talk on emerging areas in accounting and future opportunities in application of accounting. Post Budget Discussion was conducted where the faculty members touched on and analysed different areas of the budget. Quiz programme for +2 students and Business GK test for +3 students were organised.

Students organised different events like Saraswati Puja, Ganesh Puja, Republic Day, Independence Day, Teachers Day, ସସସସସସ ସ ସସସସସ (Smruti ra Smita New name of our ACE Get Together). ACE family went on annual picnic to Siddha Vairabhi and Sonapur Sea beach. Around 200 family members joining the picnic party. Awareness Programme on Mutual Fund was conducted on 24 th August, 2018 by Karvy Stock Broking Ltd. in association with SBI Mutual Fund. ACEAA and ACE: The Academy is proud of its Alumni. The Alumni have a regular interaction with current students when they visit and also share their knowledge on the google group e-mail account. The Alumni Association known as ACEAA has undertaken the following activities for the students: Organised Cricket match and Badminton match Donated books to the library of the Academy Students Day programme was celebrated on the 3 rd Death Anniversary of Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam with an Essay competition among +2 students and competition in PPT presentation among +3 students. Academy is drawing most of the faculties from among the members of ACEAA who are academicians or professionals or pursuing professional courses. A single activity or function would not have been successful without the support of ACEAA members. The members are the pillars for the Academy. Achievements Students of ACE are rightly chasing their dreams. We do dare and dream what we desire and also successfully convert our dreams into reality. It is not possible to pen all the achievements of the students during the year, but few of the pride moments brought by the performance of students, present and past, are listed below: CA CS Satyananda Routray has been elected as Chairman of Cuttack Branch of ICAI. He has been an expert for the Investment Guru Program broadcasted on the OTV channel. Rashmita Moharana and Sandeep Goenka cleared CA Final. Soumya Ranjan Moharana cleared CMA Final. B. Rahul cleared CA IPCC Sailesh Saha, Sukumar Jayadev Sahoo and Bikas Das cleared UGC NET examination. Pinky Rout, the 1 st member of ACE family to clear Diploma in Elementary Education (Popularly known as C.T.) with Commerce Stream and also cleared OTET, the eligibility test for teacher ship conducted by state government.

Janaki Biswal successfully completed B.Ed. along with efficient administration of ACE. Akash Chetani and B Rahul secured 6 th and 11 th rank respectively at the State level Accounting Wizard Test conducted at Utkal University. Students have glorified our Academy by their success. In +2 council examination, out of 46 students 44 students have successfully passed with 13 students securing more than 70% marks. Students got success in the foundation programmes of Professional Courses. AACE (P) Ltd. and ACE: Since 2013, the Academy is operating as a unit under the Alumni Academy of Commerce Education (Pvt.) Ltd. ACE acknowledges the services of the directors of the company CA N.V.Bhaskar Rao and CA Rakesh Kumar Patra for their untired effort and Auditor CA Lalatendu Sahu of PAMS & Associates for their professional services.
