Main meals are 1.80, and 2 courses are 2.30. Breakfast club opens 8.15am-8.45am. LETTERS ISSUED THIS WEEK - BY STUDENT POST Check below to see if your child should have a letter. (Copy on website or click link) Year Topic END OF TERM ARRANGEMENTS 2018 I write to update parents and our community regarding our end of term arrangements. Friday 20th July 2018 is the final day of term and we will follow a similar arrangement to last year. School will close at 12.50pm following the morning session. The canteen will be open to provide a limited food service for any students wishing to stay in school to have a lunch - please note this will be a cold food service only. Any parents wishing their son/daughter to remain in school until 3:20pm should contact the appropriate Head of House by the end of school on Friday 13th July, to allow supervision arrangements to be made. We are in the process of arranging an early bus service, although some students may need to walk to the bus station. More details will follow when we receive confirmation from transport providers. GCSE exam results can be collected from the school hall on Thursday 23rd August 2018 from 11:00-12:00hrs. Term starts on Wednesday 5th September 2018 at 08:50 for all students. SUMMER CONCERT - 20TH JUNE Tickets are available from our school office for the spectacular annual Summer Concert on Wednesday 20th June in our School Hall. The programme includes a selection of music, singing and dancing from our very talented students. We promise to provide you with a memorable evening of entertainment for all the family. Adults 4 including a FREE drink and strawberries and cream - Children FREE Summer Concert 20th of June at 7pm in the School Hall Tickets from pupil reception. Children FREE. A link is also provide here - Summer Term Club List All students must ensure that we have: a copy of their passport their mobile phone number (this can be emailed to Miss Vidler) the green medical form returned by 29th June - even if they don't require any medication any prescribed medication must be handed in by 29th June a copy of their APPROVED AUTHORISED ESTA (this can be emailed to Miss Vidler) their completed behaviour consent form their completed maths booklet by Friday 6th July There will be three events held in room 33 at 1pm on: Wednesday 27th June, Tuesday 3rd July and Monday 9th July All students going on the trip are expected to attend, they can bring lunch but some snacks will be provided. KS4 INFORMATION YEAR 10 PETROC TASTER DAY The Petroc Taster Day is on Tuesday 26th June. two hundred and twenty, Year 10 students have picked their course options for the day. The final part of the process is for students to return the Parent Permission Form by Tuesday 19 June. Letters with the attached form were distributed to students this week. Further copies are available from Pupil Reception and as an attachment here. YEAR 11 PROM PHOTOS On Thursday 14th June, we emailed all Year 11 students, to request their consent to take their photograph during the prom, by completing an online google form. Could you remind your child to submit their form. We would really appreciate your help with this. SUMMER FAYRE DRAW TICKETS We have outstanding draw tickets that have not been returned for the Summer Draw for years 7,8 and 9. Could students kindly return any tickets to pupil reception next week - sold or unsold ARTICULACY WORKSHOP For the past two weeks, a group of Year 9s and 10s have had the wonderful opportunity of working with articulacy.co.uk, Exeter University, and Next Steps South West to participate in a week-long workshop. They have learnt a range of essential skills such as speaking and listening, presentation giving, memory and recital tasks, and have rounded the week off by taking an English Speaking Board qualification. Well done to all who took part - it was a fantastic experience and the students benefitted hugely from the workshop. Many thanks Mr Sloman - Assistant Headteacher

SPORTS RESULTS ATHLETICS FINAL - BRAUNTON After competing in the athletics finals on Wednesday 13 June at Braunton, we have the results: Year 7 Boys - 1st Year 7 Girls - 3rd Year 9 Boys - 3rd Year 9 Girls - 1st Year 10 boys - 1st Year 10 Girls - 2nd Unfortunately we couldn't bring our Year 8 teams due to the clash with the History trip but otherwise we would have had a clean sweep in the final with all teams in the top three! Well done to all the students who took part a fantastic effort. DEVON SCHOOLS ATHLETICS FINALS Year 10 student Matthew Walker competed in the Devon Schools Athletics Championship on Saturday in Exeter. He competed in the Long Jump for a place in the Devon team. Matt went on to win the competition with a PB of 5m85 and will now go on to represent Devon this Saturday in the South West Schools event. Well done Matt and good luck! OCEANFEST VOLLEYBALL SCHOOLS COMPETITION Four students attended the U16 s Croyde Volleyball Oceanfest Schools Competition on Thursday 14th June. They had a great day, the girls Poppy Sampson and Tianna Owen came 3rd overall and the boys Zac Adams and Llewyn Jago reached the quarter finals.

CHARITY OF THE YEAR Everything Ellie is the Park School charity of the Year. Please donate any 1p, 2p, 5p and old 1 coins students can give them to their tutor, Mrs O'Callaghan or pupil reception. Also do you have any old, unwanted but usable shoes that you can donate to our shoe bank. MATHS PUZZLE OF THE WEEK All Students: See your tutor or Maths teacher for the weekly Maths Puzzle of the Week Competition. Put your entry in the box in room 37 by the end of the week for a chance of winning the weekly prize. Each week the winner is announced on the @ParkMaths twitter feed.
