BHS Anime Club There will be a meeting today after school (3:00-4:30) in room 109. Leading Ladies If you plan to mentor at EBSOLA, today take a bus from door 20 to EBSOLA. The bus will return you to Bradford at 4:30. See Miraje' Woods, Nazjah Coburn, or Ms. Johnson if you have questions. Campus Life We will meet in room 108 during A and B lunches tomorrow. College Career UW Platteville will be here tomorrow in room 219. Sign up outside of room 218 or see Mrs. Mars. Platteville is a campus of about 9,000 students offering 16 Division 3 sports with over 40 majors. Top programs are in Engineering and Agriculture. Students are likely to be admitted if they rank in the top ½ of their class or have an ACT of a 22 or higher.

College Career UW-La Crosse will be visiting Bradford Wednesday, October 10th at 11am in room 219. UW- Lacrosse is a midsize university located by the Mississippi River with around 10,000 students. They are a NCAA division 3 school with sports such as basketball, baseball, football, cross country, wrestling, swimming and diving, tennis, volleyball and track and field with over 120 programs; some of their popular ones being Biology, Sport Science & Archaeology. Girls Soccer For all girls interested in Bradford Girls' Soccer, there will be a team meeting in the Bradford Cafeteria on Wednesday, October 10th at 3:15 pm. The meeting will run about 30 minutes and cover valuable information including offseason open gyms, training and season dates / schedules. Bowling Club Try-Outs Are you interested in bowling on the Bradford bowling team? We are having a meeting and tryouts at Surfside on Wednesday Oct. 10 th at 4:30 PM. Parents are encouraged to attend. Don t forget to bring your equipment. Attention Bradford Wrestlers and Managers Open gym starts Wednesday, October 10th for those not doing a fall sport. It will be 7:00pm to 8:30pm on the north side of the field house. Wrestle, run, and weightlift with teammates at your own pace. Please be mindful that K-12 Kenosha Girls Wrestling also begins at this time. Proper behavior, language, and leadership are of the utmost importance. Remember, you are their role models, and they will follow your lead. Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) Do you like to have fun? Are you interested in marketing, finance, hospitality or management? Come see what DECA is all about on Thursday, October 11th at 3:05 in Mrs. Gavin s room (room 227). There will be snacks! Attention baseball players There will be a mandatory player and parent meeting on Thursday, October 11th at 6:30 in the Bradford cafeteria. Anyone who plans on being a part of the Bradford Baseball program must attend along with at least one parent or guardian. If you would like more information about joining the baseball team, or have questions about the meeting, see Mr. Menor.

College Career Carroll College will be visiting Bradford Thursday, October 11th at 10 am in room 219. Carroll is a private university of about 3,400 students. They offer 22 division 3 sports including cross country, swimming and basketball. They offer a large number of majors. Some include: graphic communications, marine science, theater & arts management and music therapy. Most freshmen accepted to Carroll were in the top 50% of their class with an average ACT of an 18. If interested, sign up outside of room 218 or see Mrs. Mars. Girls Basketball Anyone interested in playing girls basketball please stop by Coach Ferrille's room 126 to pick up the paperwork anytime during the day on Thursday 10-11 Bradford Softball Bradford Softball is holding a sign-up meeting on Thursday, October 11 at 3:05 in Room 112. Information will be provided on workouts, open gyms, and the upcoming spring Softball season. If you have questions about Bradford Softball, please see Coach John Ruffolo in room 112. The Softball meeting will end by 3:30 PM. ACT Practice Test Did you know that over 80% of high school students do not take the ACT test until they are required to in high school? Attention juniors and sophomores. Here is your opportunity to take the ACT practice test for free. This will take place on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Bradford. This is a professional learning day for teachers and as students you are off on that day. The Junior test will run from 7:30-11:45 Sophomore test will take place from 12:30 to 2:30. Please sign up in advance of the date in room 151.
