SMCPS GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS 21 Credits (required courses and electives) Sequence/Pathway High School Assessments (HSA) (PARCC) Student Service Learning Career Portfolio

GPA Information GPA is calculated on a 4.0 scale. A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1. You add the total points up that the student earned and divide them by the number of classes that the student had. For example: If a student has 4 A's and 3 B's it would look like: 4+4+4+4+3+3+3=25; then, you would divide 25/7 (7 is the number of classes that the student took)= 3.57. Now, STEM classes are weighted by.5. The STEM weight scale is: A=4.5, B=3.5, and C=2.5, D is not weighted and would be a 1.0.
