ABOUT MODERN SCHOOL Modern School welcomes you again to peep into its world of happenings and achievements. First quarter had been a colourful bouquet of Co-curricular activities and attainments which couldn't have been possible without wholehearted support of students and parents. Each day had been made remarkable with various tasks and avocations. Have a glimpse of all our procurements through REFLECTIONS ACCREDITATION TO THE BRITISH COUNCIL (I.S.A) Climbing up the ladder, Modern School is aiming for I.S.A (International School Award) which is an accreditation framework offered by the British Council and has enthusiastically and excitedly taken up three projects and related activities at the global level. Looking for a global learning and exposure for our students, we anticipate to organize, conduct and collaborate with partner schools from different countries through technology like skype, emails, twitter etc. JOINING HANDS FOR WORLD PEACE As the world is shrinking, knowledge sharing is gaining its importance globally. It has become important to equip our students to meet the challenges of time. For this, Modern school has already taken its first step towards HWPL, thus designating itself as an HWPL Peace Academy establishing world peace which will be an eternal legacy generator. PREFECTORIAL BOARD Modern school elects its members of Prefectorial board in a democratic way. The board consists of Head Boy, Head Girl, Chief Prefects, Cultural Co-ordinator, Sports Co-ordinator and Discipline Co-ordinators. This helps in structuring a student council system which inculcates in them, the qualities of leadership while building team spirit. They are our future citizens and for their all-round development, they also require to develop skill of organizing events and functions with sense of tolerance and co-ordination while enhancing their intellect. IMPORTANT EVENTS ORIENTATION PROGRAMME The Orientation Programme, held for the parents of newly admitted students on 3-04-2018, aimed at making the parents acquainted with the school's education system, rules and regulations, vision and mission of the school. Parents were also informed about the annual planning of Modern School for the cumulative progress of their children. The programme was a huge success. CRICKET ACADEMY Modern School, pacing to progress, added feather to its wings with the inauguration of cricket academy on 15-05-2018 by Mr. Parwinder Awana, a well known international cricketer. His motivational words thrilled our Modernites, inspiring them to explore this field. DRAWING COMPETITION A drawing competition for classes IV and V was organized on 14-05-2018 by Delhi Press in school campus. Mr. Dinesh Jha (Chief editor- Champak ), the Chief guest along with Mr. Parwinder Awana, the ace cricketer, gave away the prizes to our young artists. Champak, a children s magazine, published an article about the same. DANCING DIVAS An Inter-school folk dance competition Noida Basant Mahotsav was organized by Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra, in which students of Modern School bagged first position and the participants were-tisha Bhadana, Simmi Tiwari, Ananya Rawat, Aditi Shukla, Tashvi Uniyal, Shivani Gussain, Bhoomi Mishra, Nidhi Ganniyal, Eshita Negi, Drishti Tyagi, Pallavi Joshi, Vartika Dwivedi.

About Modern IMPORTANT EVENTS School NOIDA LOKMANCH An inter-school dance competition was organized by Noida Lokmanch and our Modernites achieved the first position for their graceful moves and expressions.the partcipants were Simmi Tiwari, Drishti Tyagi, Tashvi Uniyal, Pallavi Joshi, Shivani, Bhoomi Mishra, Ananya Rawat, Sneha Kundpal. HEALTHY FOOD FESTIVAL Modern School s junior wing celebrated Healthy Food Festival on 4-05-2018 to create awareness among students to eat healthy food and to know about its benefits. INTER-HOUSE COMPETITIONS For all round development of students various Co-curricular activities were organized. Students participated in all these activities with enthusiasm and excitement. Our Modernites have developed various apps, programmes and softwares, again proving their versatility. Teaching faculty uses the smart boards leaving long lasting imprints on our young minds. Most of the classes are equipped with smart boards and all the relevant and latest academic content is uploaded in collaboration with TATA EDGE Classes.

SCOUTS AND GUIDES Aspiring social soldiers of Modern School attended a district level Scouts & Guides Camp in April under the supervision of Mr. Sunil Kumar Sharma and Ms. Arpana Chauhan.

ACCOLADES MODERNITES EXCELLED IN BOARD EXAMS, IIT-JEE AND NEET Modernites have excelled in board examination and have proved themselves as true achievers. Their dedicated and passionate efforts have always made them outshine in various literary, cultural and sports competitions held at local, state and/or national levels. The students of Modern School have again proved their intellect in Class-XII CBSE Examination for session 2017-18. Aradhana Sharma topped the school and also in Science Stream (Non-medical) by scoring 97.8% aggregate. Nitika Chauhan, Science stream (Medical) followed the league scoring 96.4%. Naina Dubey, Commerce stream secured 96% followed by Sakshi Bhadula, Humanities Stream scoring 91%. In Class-X, Soumya Goyal topped the school by scoring 97% aggregate. Other students, added glory to the crown, scoring more than 90% were Shriya Pandey (94.6%), Khushi (94.4%), Himanshu Pal (94%), Shivam Kumar Gaur (93.%), Akash Kumar (93.4%), SagarYadav ( 92.6%), Shruti Singh(92%), Ritika Goyal (91.4%), ManmayGhosh (91%), Sandhya Yadav (90.9%), Darshika Gupta ( 90%).
