Certified employees who are hired to drive a bus will be paid the hourly rate for their level of experience as a regular double-route bus driver. For work above 40 hours per week, the rate as a bus driver will be time and a half of the bus driving rate of pay. As of 1/1/2015, verified experience driving a school bus in a Kentucky public school district will be honored for employees hired as bus drivers. Experience will be counted in the same manner as for current classified employees. A stipend provided by Kentucky Law Enforcement Foundation Program Fund (KLEFPF) Training Incentive Program is available for qualified Resource Officers and the Resource Officer Supervisor. Guidelines to determine eligibility to receive stipend are from KLEFPF. A stipend of 333.33 for each qualifying month of work will be paid in addition to the salary stated above, after funds are received by the district from KLEFPF. In addition, in accordance with KLEFPF guidelines, any overtime worked by the Resource Officers or the Resource Officer Supervisor who are eligible for and receive the KLEFPF stipend shall have the hourly rate for the stipend included in overtime calculations for payroll purposes. KLEFPF funds the employee portion of the retirement contribution in addition to the stipend amount. If an employee is paid the stipend and later declared ineligible to receive it by KLEFPF, the stipend will be required to be repaid to the district.

If the rate exceeds the teacher's Daily Wage Threshhold (DWT) from the Kentucky Teachers' Retirement System, the DWT will be paid. Retired teachers, regardless of the district from which they retired, are limited to working 169 days per school year. Retired teachers from McCracken County Schools will be honored with this rate of pay due to their familiarity with the facilities, staff, local policies, local cultures, families, and students; loyalty to the district; experience; and to encourage teachers to seek employment with the district and remain with the district knowing this benefit is available to them upon retirement. Substitute teachers who teach twenty (20) or more consecutive days at a school for the same teacher shall be paid from the certified teacher salary scale. If a substitute teaches in a vacant position and is hired as a teacher for that position, they shall be paid for their consecutive time subbing in that same position from the certified teacher salary scale, regardless of whether or not they taught as a substitute for twenty (20) or more consecutive days in that posistion.
