Inter School English Debate Cheshta Sindwani of class X bagged 1 st position for the best speaker in the Inter School English Debate Competition held at The Millenium School, Panipat on 17 th July 2015. * Five students from classes IX & X were selected for District Level Basketball Tournament. The Block Level Tournament was organized by the DEO office at Panipat on 15 th & 16 th July. Inter School IT Quiz Students of classes V X bagged 1 st prize in the IT Quiz held at Dr. M.K.K. Arya Model School, Panipat on 12 th Aug. 2015. Laurels in State Level Fencing Games Mimansa of class VIII won one gold and two bronze medals in Haryana State Level Fencing Games held from 20 th - 24 th Aug. 2015. The 69 th Independence Day was celebrated by the school in association with IOCL, Panipat Refinery with a great fan fare. The chief guest of the function was Mr. Vijay Prakash, Executive Director (I/C), Panipat Refinery. The highlight of the cultural programme was Save Girl Child. The Quiz competition on the topic Contemporary India was held for classes XI & XII on 24 th July 2015. Aravalli House bagged 1 st position in the Quiz Competition The Football Tournament (boys) was held on 31 st July 2015 for classes VI to XII. Nilgiri House bagged 1 st position of Football Tournament The English Debate was held on 7 th Aug '15 for classes IX & X. The topic was "To Achieve a Goal, It Is The End That is More Important, Not The Means". The Hindi Debate was held on 28 th Aug' 15 for classes IX & X. The topic was Vindhyachal House bagged 1 st position in English Debate Aravalli House bagged 1 st position in Hindi Debate

Trip to Chandigarh A one day trip to Chandigarh was organized for our class on 1st Aug 2015. We visited the famous Rock Garden there. The experience of seeing the raw art created by Mr. Nek Chand was ethereal for all of us. The art lovers among us learnt the nuances of raw art. More than that a day being together with the class mates at a place like Rock Garden was a memorable experience for all of us. Later, we also visited the famous Elenta Mall where we had a gala time. by Nancy Class XII Model United Nations Conference - EIRENE MUN 15 Students of class IX attended the Model United Nations Conference EIRENE MUN 15 organized by DPS Panipat City on 30th and 31st July 15. This conference was organized to educate participants about current events, topics in international relations, diplomacy and the United Nations agenda. Countries allotted to our school were Pakistan and Finland. Riddhi Malhotra of class IX got special mention award. The Eco Club of the school organized following activities for the students in the m/o July & August 15. Organization of awareness programme in the school and for the local community about the problems related to environment and global warming. The students displayed posters and slogans on the theme. Making Eco friendly products like; paper bags, pen holders and wall hangings. The articles were displayed on the PTM for the parents to view and appreciate. Recycling of products like; old CD s, plastic bottles to form new products like photo albums, wall hangings or desk organizers. Reuse of old caps and T-shirts of children by writing environment friendly slogans on them.

Celebrating special occasions. A special assembly for classes Nur to II was organized on 31 st July 15. The theme for the special assembly was Atoot Rishte. Children participated in various dances based on social relationships. A special assembly for classes VI to X was organized on 20 th Aug 15. The theme of the assembly was Child Labour. English Week Celebration English Week was celebrated for classes III-V from 10th Aug to 14th Aug 15. Extempore, poem recitation, speech, etc. were organized for the students. The objective of the celebration of the week was to groom the linguistic skills of the students.

The students of class VIII participated in the tree plantation programme organized by the District Education Office, Panipat at the site of Haryana State Industrial Corporation (HSIDC), Panipat on 10 th August 2015. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Mahipal Dhanda, rural MLA. The Deputy Commissioner of Panipat was also present on the occasion. F i e l d T r i p Painting Competition In association with IOCL, Panipat Refinery a painting competition was organized by the school on 17 th Aug 2015 for classes VI VIII. The theme of the competition was Keep Your Surroundings Clean. The best three entries from each class were awarded.
