Kooyong Student Prize Congratulations to Year 6 students Piyumi and Grace on being awarded the Kooyong Student Prize. The Kooyong Student Prize is awarded to students who display excellence in academic and extra-curricular pursuits, leadership amongst their peers, a strong commitment to upholding the school s values and strengthening the community at large. Piyumi and Grace attended an official function hosted by the Hon Josh Frydenberg MP, Federal Member for Kooyong and Minister the Environment and Energy. Maker Kitchen this week: prep students made butter, students together with their buddies put on afternoon tea for their parents. The Year 6 students created gingerbread houses! Parent Help Needed - Wash and Repair Art Smocks The art room smocks have become rather smelly and dirty, we would love it if anyone would be willing to wash and dry the smocks before the end of the year. Some of the junior smocks have also ripped so if there is anyone with some sewing skills and willing to take a few smocks to repair, again we would be very grateful! UNIFORM SHOP From 2017 the CPS Uniform Shop will be open on Friday mornings 8:45am 9:15am. The uniform shop is closed over the Summer holidays but will be open 9.00 til 11.00 on Tuesday 31 Jan.
