Continues. Every November thousands of writers join an impressive effort to write a novel within thirty days. This year Okaloosa STEMM Academy has accepted the NANOWRIMO challenge and is offering students the voluntary opportunity to set his or her word count goal to join this worldwide, novel writing marathon! In the past, NANOWRIMO winners have received one copy of his or her book published. Although NANOWRIMO is still looking for sponsors to make a published student copy possible, STEMM students who complete his or her word-count goals will receive special NANOWRIMO recognition, get to participate in a creative writing journey with friends, and receive special prizes along the way. Please see attachments for more information. Be calm and write on! If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. English at christy.english@mail.okaloosa.k12.fl.us. The STEMM Academy has now enrolled in the on-line payment process. Each club or organization sponsor must set up the account in order for parents to pay for items on sale.
