1 ST DECEMBER, 2016 : INTER-HOUSE SHALOKA COMPETITION Sudarshan Thakur of class-xi Nachiketa Khera of class-xii The Hindi Department organised Inter-House Shaloka Competition for senior students in Swami Vivekananda Auditorium on 1 st December, 2016. The Principal, Mrs. Nishi Rana lighted the lamp in front of Goddess Saraswati. Many students participated and the participants presented their shalokas with great enthusiasm and confidence. NISHI RANA FLANKED BY WINNERS! On 2nd December, 2016 two students Gaurav Dhayal and Harsh Mathur participated in IPSC Volleyball National Camp organised at Sainik School, Kunjpura. Both the players participated in IPSC Volleyball National Camp held in Ponta Sahib at Himachal Pradesh and made it to quarter finals. 2
10 TH DECEMBER, 2016 : CONCLAVE ON TRANSFORMING THE POWER OF YOUTH FOR BRIGHTER INDIA Five senior students of class XI along with the escort teacher, attended conclave on Transforming the Power of Youth for Brighter India on 10 th December 2016 at Pilani. The chief guest of this event was Shri Kiren Rijiju ji, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Govt. of India. The theme of the Conclave was an amalgamation of a rich and healthy mix of interactive lecture session by eminent personalities and expression of powerful youth force of India. 12 TH DECEMBER, 2016 : MODERN PENTHALON ASSOCIATION SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP Yuvnish of class-xii-a, represented Haryana Youth-A National Modern Penthalon Championship at Karnal from 29th July to 31st July, 2016. It was organised by Haryana Modern Penthalon Association affiliated to Indian Olympics Association. He participated in the event Biathle and secured 15th Position out of 30 participants. He was honoured by Principal, Mrs. Nishi Rana in the special assembly on 12th December, 2016. He made the school proud. 15 TH TO 18 TH DECEMBER, 2016 : CBSE NATIONAL ARCHERY TOURNAMENT Pushpam Chaudhary of class XII brought laurels to the school by winning two silver medals and one bronze in CBSE National Archery Tournament held in Sunbeam Public School at Varanasi from 15 th December to 18 th December, 2016. The school team secured overall IV Position. It was a very proud moment. 3
16 TH DECEMBER, 2016 : AN ALUMNI ABHISHEK VATS 2015-16 BATCH A PRIDE MOMENT FOR THE SCHOOL! Our alumni Abhishek Vats batch 2015-16 won Second Position and a trophy in Swimming Competition, UIPM Biathle World Tour 2016 organised by Modern Pentathlon Federation of India held from 16th December to 19th December 2016 at Miramar Beach, Goa 2016. Ten other countries had also participated in the event. Abhishek Vats represented India from BRCM Public School. He was honoured by DSO Bhiwani, Mr. Luxman Singh Saini. The Principal honoured and congratulated Abhishek Vats for his brillant achievement and awarded him trophy in special assembly amidst thunderous applause. It was indeed a great feat for the school. 16 TH DECEMBER, 2016 TO 2 ND JANUARY, 2017 : ADMISSION CAMPAIGN CAMPAIGNING... 4
The admission campaign was carried out by the teachers of Admission Committee from 16 th December, 2016-02 nd January, 2017 in regions of Bihar such as Muzaffarpur, Betia, Motihari, Darbanga, Raxaul, Chakia, Patna, while in Nepal they covered Birgunj & Kathmandu. The visit proved quite fruitful. 17 TH TO 20 TH DECEMBER, 2016: INTER-HOUSE TAEKWONDO The school organised an Inter-House Taekwondo Competition from 17th December to 20th December, 2016. The competition was for U-14 and U-17 students. Students showed great endurance skill. It was a great moment for the position holders. 23 RD DECEMBER, 2016 : CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS The campus of Vidyagram echoed with Jingle bells, Jingle bells all the way on 23 rd December, 2016 in Swami Vivekananda Auditorium. Six students attired as Santa Claus were the main attraction of the day. On this occasion a power point presentation was shown on the life of Jesus Christ. The Principal in her speech enlightened the students with the teaching of Jesus Christ. Everyone enjoyed the dance performance by junior students and the girls. At the end, sweets were distributed to everyone by Santa Claus. The celebrations ended with lot of fanfare. 26 TH DECEMBER 2016 TO 01 ST JANUARY 2017: NATIONAL YOGA Our two students Sudarshan Thakur of class XI and Hardeep Singh of class X participated in IPSC Pre-National Yoga Camp organised at Birla Public School Pilani from 26 th December to 01 st January. Both the students also participated in IPSC National Yoga Camp organised at Delhi. 31 ST DECEMBER 2016 : FRIENDLY VOLLEYBALL MATCH STUDENTS VS STAFF BRCMians enjoyed an evening witnessing a friendly volleyball match between Student Vs Staff on Vidyagram campus. The chief guest was Hon ble Director Dr. S.K. Sinha. Principal CET, Head Master, Gyankunj and Headmistress, RDNL also marked their presence by cheering both the teams. The boys stepped on to the court to set it ablaze with speed, endurance and magical footwork. On the other hand Director, Dr. S.K. Sinha led the staff team with lot of vigour. The match had the best support of the day with full capacity of students. Every minute of the match was enjoyed and the ground shook with excitement. Students team emerged triumphant at the far end of the match. 6
31ST DECEMBER 2016 : NEW YEAR CELEBRATION The New Year signifies that the time has arrived to bid farewell to the bygone year and to welcome the New Year. The students, staff and their families in Vidyagram experienced the vibrant colours and joyful atmosphere filled with prayer and feast. This fun filled occasion gave an opportunity to get close and revive old ties with each other.
