Important dates for the last week of school Wednesday Middle School Astronomy postponed to term 4, due to excessive cloud cover Thursday Parent / Teacher conferences 9am start Friday Last day of term, 12:30pm student pickup Uniform Junior boys winter (Y1-6) polo shirt. Some of you will be aware of the difficulty we have been having in purchasing the junior boys winter long sleeve polo shirt with red stripe on the collar. We have had discussions with The Warehouse who advised us that they are no longer able to source or provide this item. Following these discussions, the existing short sleeve shirt with red stripe collar will be used for both summer and winter as part of the official uniform, a long sleeved navy thermal garment may be worn under the short sleeve shirt during winter terms 2 & 3. Parents who have already purchased the long sleeve shirts may continue to have their boys wear these during 2017 during winter terms 2 & 3, after this date they will no longer be uniform. The school s website will be updated shortly to reflect the change. Summer Uniform should be worn from the start of term 4. Staff Changes Sadly Mrs Hussey (room 6) will be leaving us at the end of this year, Mrs Hussey and her Husband Mark will be moving to the North Island where Mark will take up a new position. We would like to thank Mrs. Hussey for her positive and valued contribution she has made for our children and tremendous blessings she has brought to our school. We pray that the move north will go well and hope to see Mrs Hussey visiting us whenever the opportunity arises.
