Student Council Nominations The first round of selection that is self-nomination was commenced with great zeal and enthusiasm on 6th April, 2016. A new restructured Student government has been planned which will give an opportunity to the enthusiastic kotharians to learn, grow and display their leadership skills. Inter House Sports Events Inter House Football Semi-finals (BOYS), Grade 6-7 (13.04.2016) Inter House Badminton Semi-finals (GIRLS), Grade 6-7 (13.04.2016) Inter House Basketball Semi-finals (GIRLS), Grade 8-9 (19.04.2016) Inter House Football Semi-finals (BOYS), Grade 8-9 Talent wins games, but teamwork wins championships. Following are the results updates of all matches 1. Grade 6-7 Inter House Football Semi-Finals (BOYS): Nischay House and Shakti house entered Final by defeating Siddhant and Vishwas House respectively. Inter House Badminton Semi-Finals (GIRLS): Shakti House and Vishwas House beat Nischay and Siddhant House respectively. Now Shakti House and Siddhant House will face each other in the finals. 2. Grade 8-9 Inter House Basketball Semi-Finals (GIRLS): Siddhant House and Vishwas House beat Nischay and Shakti House respectively, and will face each other in the finals. Inter House Football Semi-Finals (BOYS): Siddhant House and Vishwas House beat Nischay and Shakti House respectively. Now Siddhant House and Vishwas House will face each other in the finals.
Assemblies at KIS includes Life skill classes with 100% participation of students preparing each one of them to overcome stage fright. Each assembly starts with a prayer and culminates with School Song followed by the National Anthem. Assemblies (Grade 6-9) Grade 8-9: Teacher s Assembly - In this assembly teachers teaching grade 8-9 welcomed the students by reciting poems and also they presented a dance performance. Grade 7A: Earth Day - This was the first assembly of the session 2016~17 for grade 6&7 students. Students presented Earth Day song We are in it together Earth!!. Grade 7B: The H2O- a skit was presented which was a mix of humor, laughter with a strong message on water conservation. An open session was conducted to take the parents opinion, where in all the parents appreciated the efforts put in by all the students. Grade 8A: Human Rights- The students showed the importance of the crucial role played by Human Rights. To put it in a nutshell, the assembly preached out the message of Being Human and it ended with the School Song, followed by the National Anthem.
