Faculty Leadership in Guided Pathways Academic senates and faculty are critical to the success of guided pathways Efforts involve faculty at every stage and focus on areas of academic senate purview including, but not limited to: Curriculum Student preparation and support Educational program development Degree and certificate requirements Faculty professional development Academic senates must be in the lead, keep faculty at the core, and ensure that every decision is made in the best interest of students Faculty from all disciplines and programs need to be engaged in planning and implementation To successfully implement guided pathways, each college must own the process through deliberate dialogue and profound engagement
