2015-2016 Willow Tree SSP PE and school sport support package Mark Needham (PDM) Willow Tree School Sport Partnership 2015-2016

The work you have developed and influenced will have a massive impact across the country for hundreds of young people and provide meaningful opportunities for young people with SEND to participate in school competition. Youth Sport Trust representative I had no idea what to expect having never taught dance I am much more confident to try now! Wood End Academy teacher The competition was very well organised and the children really enjoyed the matches. North Ealing Primary school teacher The Willow Tree School Sport Partnership is a not for profit educational organisation and firmly committed to providing young people with the very best education in physical literacy and schools with the best support to provide all young people with the sporting opportunities to: 1. Encourage lifelong participation. 2. Realise full potential 3. Develop the whole child As an educational service provider that employs PE specialist teachers with QTS, we appreciate the flexibility required when working collaboratively with schools and have staff and delivery plans that are adaptable with school life. This supports our delivery to be integrated seamlessly into school development, for example by taking into account the need for supply and transport costs to be budgeted in calculating Sport premium spend. Since its inauguration in 2001, the partnership has been providing educational support to its schools and is managed by school leaders drawing on over 9 years experience of collaborative partnering in PE and sport. Our packages have been tested for viability and we have the capacity to deliver the packages including our Sports premium top-up package (please refer to accompanying document) at the very highest performance levels to all schools. The 2015-2016 PE and school sport support packages for one form entry schools (Bronze) and two form entry and above (Silver) are included in this document. We are also able to offer schools that commit to the package with a PE and sports premium gold top-up for 2000. This top-up will further support schools in meeting all of the expected outcomes of the Sport Premium funding for young people. We are also continuing to offer one delegate place on Create Development s real PE EYFS/KS1 or KS2 cohorts for next academic year as well as the alternative option for a member of staff that has already completed real PE to attend the real Gym and real Dance modules. The response and feedback to this programme has been extremely positive and has already been adopted by over 2000 schools across the country in order to develop young people s Fundamental Movement Skills and meet the aims of the new PE national curriculum. For further information and to discuss the level of package that meets your school needs, please do not hesitate to contact me on 07786 175053 or email mneedham4.307@lgflmail.org Mark Needham Partnership Development Manager
